This story was way to dark to be a short. I mean someone being tortured for 5 years can huge consequences to the brain he would been mentally unstable at that point. I mean a months maybe a year but 5 years was A little excessive for this being such a short story and if i'm not mistaken but one's mind was hard to fix in the magic world. The ending was too rash like they just fell in love without knowing each other.
