Wow, just wow!
I got to say, you really hit the ball out of OP Field your take on shipgirls in this tale. It could have made a good crack-fic. There aren't many support ship candidates and the only ones I can think of off the top of my head are the hospital ships from the Star Surgeon book series. It's been over 30 years so the best I can do I recall the author's surname was White. Now Drydock from the original Guardians of the Galaxy comics is a support station that is huge enough to work on even the largest of starships.

Interesting setup, but why a Monolith? Don't get me wrong, am a Battletech fan (played the TTGame for years), but compared to the others it IS Lowtech and the Monolith is rather mundane. Factoring in the jumpdrive (even with batteries) she would rather fast lag behind. (warming up HeavyMetal to find out what would fit in)

Another could be The Arc from the Netflix transformers trilogy. That one transforms. Or one of the Titans like Metroplex or Trypticon (they transform into flight capable modes). Or just get Atlantis from the Stargate universe.
