I love these characters too! And this was such a wonderful piece, I loved the vibes I got from this one. You really conveyed these characters well: Cherry is a little rough around the edges, feeling like shit, choking on her words in response to Moon, sensitive but also hiding behind walls to hide her grief. While Moon is wise and kind, from the way she walks with confidence of knowing the terrain, to the sureness in her voice when she points out which star is her mother.
I wonder if it's infuriating to Cherry that Moon seems so sure of herself all the time, or it's something that she admires and hopes to feel like one day. I also wonder if Moon still has her own insecurities.
I also really like the final few lines of this story: "The fog in her brain does not go away. She's not sure if it ever will." Which is so relatable. There's some moments like stargazing with a friend that feels comforting, even if it doesn't fix your problems right away. But it also adds some hope :)

I really enjoyed this! The description was really nice, I could definitely see Moon and Cherry just sitting under the moon in my head. I also loved how we could really tell how grateful Cherry was to Moon for sticking by her. You can really feel how much the cares for Moon. It was a very nice challenge, and I would love to see more of these characters.

aww this was really beautiful! firstly i love the way the dialogue was written, it was paced so nicely, n it had an almost whimsical feel to it if that makes sense? moon's characterisation from cherry's perspective was also really enjoyable to follow, you can defo tell how much the pair care for each other. the descriptions of the stars in the sky and all of the little snippits of internal thoughts were also written so nicely, like, ,, 'here in this moment, it's enough to just feel warm and safe and loved' and 'she sometimes hates how perspective moon is' first one was just :))) and the little list worked rlly well. liked the second well too, could get a really good idea about moon/cherry's relationship from that
overall this was a great challenge! i would defo enjoy reading something else about these two, their dynamic worked rlly nicely :')
