Why is Edward not referred to as Dr. Cullen if he also has a PHD?

I just realized that this story was published right after the floods in Chilliwack because of the atmospheric rivers in 2021. Was this meant to be a tribute to the city or is that just a coincidence? In any case, I love it. Thank you!

This was a lovely story! I always liked professor/student stories when the authors resolve the power dynamics well, and that part added a good edge to this book and the development of their relationship. I also liked the effect that pretending to have such a close relationship so quickly made them see their potential right away, and that Bella, specially, was clear and communicative of what she wanted. My favourite chapters were really until they admitted their feelings for each other because of all of this. Of course, the story was meant to be full of fluff and so it was not surprising that everything worked out well from beginning to end and that it was dotted with adjectives. It was a great read and Anton M’s writing always has such a good flow. The majority of the book happened in just a few days but the richness of details and great transitions make the reader glued to the pages. I absolutely loved that it was based in Vancouver and Chilliwack! It is so rare to get books based in Canada in this fandom or in the P&P world, and I was thrilled. I laughed so much when Edward said: "Are you crazy? This is Vancouver. I expect to share a room with seventeen undergraduates and a goat, but I suppose they'll have to spare me a chair and a table." Oh man, how real is that! So funny.

Thank you so much for sharing your story! I will keep it close to reread it on a rainy Vancouver day :) ️

Omg, it’s a crossover between Anton M and Vancouver! 3 Hahhaha I was giddy when I started this story. Hearing them dish on Granville St and subtly complain about our dismal real state market is hilarious. I can almost imagine Edward living on a basement on Mount Pleasant, since apparently Emily Carr teaches medicine now?! Hahah too funny! Love this story already.

Sorry, it looks good, but I couldn't read past the covid crap and vaccine status enquiries.

This is one of my favourite stories on this site. Every now and then I feel the need to read this story. It still fills me with the same joy it did when I first read it.
