had doubts early on, I kneejerked my earlier review seeing the same tried n despised tool get dropped in but aside from Tanya somehow becoming even denser and forgetting a few basics the avatar cast are remarkably well written. overall a good short read, sad its dead but I dont regret the time reading/listening to this fine tale.

... being x... the author's avatar...fine. why does Mary Souix still exist when you could've injected the authors meddling into a cannonical character, avatar already had plenty of morally corrupt charecters and theres plenty of spiritualism sects to divine a mindless zealot from inside the universe, hell you could even have being x manifest as the world has common spiritual phenomenon...

The maniacal smiles and the apparent satisfaction with cruelty are not normal characteristics of Tanya's personality, so I can't help but think that the mental corruption of Type 95 may have lingered in Tanya even in this new life.

Damn, i hate how idiotic Tanya is in this story... at least so far. The constant misunderstandings, the cruel behavior, and sometimes just inherently biased and idiotic takes all make me want to hate her. Like he/she was not an experienced person in mind, with decades of life behind him/her.

Wow, simply wow. 5 gold stars, simply the best opening I’ve ever seen to a Youjo Senki story. Sidestepping the reincarnation pitfall, the reasoning behind her desire to stay hidden and allowing the time skips to be non impactful, the way you write her thoughts, the conflict, so wonderful, you deserve the most favorites

Once again with Being-X, it's more of a headache that almost all the stories include him. I would have loved to see how Tanya would interact with the world, without Being-X interfering with the general plot of the story. A heavy shame, as its not unique anymore.
