Here's a good idea for a fanfic, how about having the high school demon characters end up in a theater and being shown alternate versions of Hedo Issei. For example, they will be shown the world of “The Lord of the Rings” where Issei (Aragorn), Gasper (Frodo), Kiba (Legolas), Saji (Faramir), Vali, Sairaorg or Riser can become Boramir.
There is also an option that Issei is the Peter Parker version of the Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield films. You could also make the high school demon characters react to the 2008 Spider-Man animated series. There are only 26 episodes in it and it will be possible to make exactly 26 chapters for each episode!
You can make their reaction to the Bleach universe, where Issei is Ichigo. They will be shown the iconic battles of Issei (Ichigo) against Byakuya Kuchiki, Kenpachi Zaraki, Grimmjow Jaegerjack and Sosuke Aizen.
It will be interesting to see the reaction of DxD characters to the fact that Issei is Harry Potter or Bell Cranel from the anime “Danmachi”!

Hmm, I enjoyed the way you set this story as a short prequel. The introduction of the characters and the way you set up the potential for power system balancing while not committing is really cool. It's something I see even more rarely than a good prequel.
The foreshadowing present makes me want more, and the open ended introduction to his old/new friends is set up for awesome misadventure potential lol. At the same time it was cut off at just the right spot to leave my imagination sprinting off into the non existent sunset.
plz take your time to map out some good plot points to wow us all, but if you decide not to publish the rest for 'RL' reasons or a lack of inspiration plz give us poor fans a synopsis? if not it's still a cool prequel and you have my thx for it.

I love this chapter, so many questions I had just seemed to click into place… kinda like finally finding the missing edge pieces and knowing exactly how they slot in. Very nice
