It's not Yang, because she'd recognize the chat itself, and she most likely doesn't believe that kind of stuff. And it's not Weiss, because an heir is a male. An heiress is female. I will say, I feel sorry for Jaune. He's like one bad day away from starting another Columbine. Bullies really should think twice these days tbh.

Okay i definetly liked the start of this story, there is a criminally low amount of Normal Modern AU stories that keep being updated pass certain point and i want to know what kind plots unfold from this setup.
As for the characters, like many others my guess is beyond obviously Ruby that the rest are Oscar as Druid, Illia as Scales (She is a Chameleon faunus and seems kind of obvious), Whitley as Heir (if it was either Weiss or Winter it will be Heiress so it makes sense) and either Vernal or Raven as Bird

uff I could only guess that bird was vernal,
Guest "Vernal, Ruby, Illia, Oscar and Whitley" answer makes so much sense, as I didn't see it before XD
what I liked about the fic is that it has the style of the SNAFU fanfiction
The only thing I can think of about what happened is the version of the red sap incident in your fanfic
that would explain the coma to be jaune allergic to the red sap
How he lost his friends that he had left because the joke was towards Pyrrha, who did exercise, these places are usually behind school which would make him a pariah because of how popular she is as I mentioned jaune
only he didn't stop like in the canon, but rather followed him by how jaune mentions it "Although even he would argue that the circumstances that led to his outcast label could have been set in motion by him."
