I think in Pain arc it went from becoming a leader or president to a messiah or saviour of the world. As it seemed it completely twisted the goal of series from Naruto growth to world peace.
I think Chunin exam arc is my favourite and in vs battle Itachi will win but will most likely not survive it.

Favorite arc: Madara JK. Pain arc was the best war arc would be better if I could make it only Madara and Obito scenes, especially Madara.
Itachi would win if it were edo version Nagato slams. The reason Itachi wins is because the same reason Jiraiya with no info was able to fight pain. Genjutsu it disrupts the technique. Itachi could use regular genjutsu and affect main movements then use his blade and seal every body.

Answer honestly this battle needs far larger parameters even dying of cancer itachi was a s-rank threat and nagato has some weakened states too in a prime v prime its scary and hard to imagine honestly if you go time of death v time of death itachi inches out that win do to hes yatta mirror and blade of toska all he needs to do is take two pains out first and the rest is esay the real problem is tracking the main body and eliminating konan before he can make new paths.
Shrug the fuu thing is tricky for a lot of resons but i get the fealing that the toad sage is about to obtain two new students maybe 3 if gaara becomes sane.

i really dont see karin winning against lee, no matter where a hypothetical fight in the timeline would happen, the eight gates allowed might guy to ALMOST KILL MADARA FUCKING UCHIHA, somehow i dont see karin beating that
Q1: i never finished shippuden but i always felt shippuden destroyed the whole "subtle and stealthy" ninja aspect of naruto, tactics dont matter if you can just blow through whatever your opponent is capable of, so for that, my favorite is the original wave arc
Q2: pein all the way, genjutsu is cool and all and often overlooked in naruto in favor of flashy ninjutsu (because you cant really explain or show effects in the mind in a shounen series other than the genjutsu battle between sasuke and itachi and from what little ive seen it wasnt that great until they started using actual ninjutsu) but ive seen what the rinnegan can do and itachi stands no chance considering pein and his different paths

That is one heck of a forced class assignment. At least Solo Leveling had the excuse that it was all planned from the start. Here though... it seems insanely forced.
But that aside, almost everything else in this fic is very in line with my interest. Thank you for writing.

might be late. but I do like more realistic or at least close to canon Naruto. intellectual Naruto isn't a naruto I know. he can be OP but at least he did it within his own means.

First, it’s definitely pein. Too many people wank to itachi.
To me, he could have used the fact he met obito to prove to the sandstone that it was not the uchiha who released kurama.
Takigakure dis not find about akatsuki. They were probably told by jiraiya. And fuu definitely did not know until after shippuden started.
I really hope you don’t have naruto leaving … have kaKashi or jiraiya point out that while takigakure could not face off against akatsuki, konoha surely could.

Itachi wins, during the edo tensei fight pein didn’t absorb the sussano which means it’ll be op, I’m gonna talk for itachi without the illness, if he had it than the chances are 2/3 in pein favour, sussano will be able to handle any attack with its special shield, while he toutska blade can be used as offense, prime itachi would destroy pein though nagato if he was fully healed is a different story, it would be a close fight, but I’d say itachi would have a slight edge, chances of prime no illness itachi beating a fully healed nagato is 55%

I'm genuinely expecting Naruto to pull an Uno reverse with Fuu down the line, that seems like what he would do given the nature of the request.
I'd say either the Sasuke retrieval arc or the Pain arc. Both are relative climaxes in their own rights that act as turning points in the series.

I think he may be able to take most of them out depending on how quickly he picks up on the one that can resurrect the other bodies. Will Naruto be getting his mother's (The Uzumaki's) Chains as well? Will his gamer ability scan his family technique? I know in canon Karin did not unlock them until the 4th war. It would be cool if Naruto got something from his Uzumaki heritage... I mean all he has really is their name. He does not use seals and he does not have their chains. The only thing connecting him to his parents really in canon and this fic was his hair, eyes, and pranks/wanting to be Hokage. You figure if Kishimoto was going to connect him to a clan he would have given him something that belongs with the clan like seals or the chains... Otherwise, that connection and name were pointless to make.
