I think he's going to pick Iron Skin. Without a description to accompany it, Enhanced Eyesight sounds remarkably plain. The only thing going for it is how Kakashi and Sasuke can be examples of it's benefits. But Naruto could be reasonably at the point of feeling like a copycat of Sasuke.
I'd suggest make your own bracket for the Chunin exams. Obviously let any fight/scene ideas take priority, but you could randomize it and let the story ripple from that. Anyone who isn't Lee is likely to get killed by Gaara though, so that can either make a large ripple that sends several characters into an arc. or you kill off one of the Sound trio and everyone gets mildly uncomfortable for 30 minutes.

I like the story, but Naruto seems to be the only one receiving characterization. Other characters don't have a known thought process, nor do they interact enough to really give us an idea of their characters well. In this chapter, for example, Narutos differences can be seen in how he handled the exam. the other rookie nine, however, are barely mentioned. Maybe it might come up in the next chapter, but Naruto threatening a chunin didn't seem to have a noticeable effect.
In a sense, it reads more like a choose your own adventure book than it does to a novel.

while Naruto does need to use his head more often I feel he would get Iron skin just because he still needs to improve his defense.
Your own take of the match ups would be more interesting as im assuming a lot of people on here are getting tired of the canon line up but you should go with what ever makes the most sense to you

Personally I would go with iron skin, simply because more defenses are always a good thing. But being a ninja, I can see how enhanced eyesight would also be helpful.

Hn unless he is going for long range load out, I have to vote for iron skin since his combat style is between close and mid-range. Plus, I want to see if the iron skin would have any effect on the shadow clones would they last longer then one hit?

I've been following this story for a while, but truthfully I'm finding it hard to continue. There isn't anything wrong with your writing. It's easy to follow and we'll done - much better than most people, in fact. In the beginning I was incredibly interested - hooked even - and couldn't wait for each update. Then after a while I started falling off. Things were happening because reasons while at the same time it felt like nothing of substance was happening at all. Decisions and actions didn't click with me that forged a disconnect as a reader. Characters felt less organic and like pieces moving from point to point.
This is all just my opinion as a stranger and how I digested what was written. It's entirely my fault for feeling the way I do. I can one hundred percent understand why people love this, but it's just not for me anymore. I'll still be following and keeping up. I really do like what is being presented.

If Iron Skin also increases the durability of his clones, pick that... otherwise, enhanced eyesight would be the better choice judging by just skill name.

Most likely iron skin, if i think it means what it means it would be a cool skill for a close range fighter like Naruto.

I'd say Iron Skin personally. Chakra does both, it can enhance sights and make people tank things normal people would get obliterated from. Iron skin would help keep his ass alive even longer.

Great story, I am really enjoying it a lot. I think Naruto should take the Iron Skin, that will help out more with taijustu and you should make your own brackets up for the fights:)
