Obviously Haku and Zabuza as his first shadows. Toad Summoning because he needs the Taijutsu and Sage Mode mastery to control nature energy. Monkey King Enma Summoning for the pole weaponry and a connection to the Third since I imagine Hiruzen would leave Naruto something. OH! HIRUZEN AS SHADOW AND ITACHI!

I definitely prefer op, Smart Naruto but on a kinda realistic level if that makes sense? Naruto in the anime and manga was a complete idiot with absurd levels of power compared to those around him, by 16 he was at least comparable to Hashirama but he's so stupid he may as well be brain damaged, in Canon he should've never became Hokage because it requires more than being strong to run a village, how it became such a technological marvel under his rule is a mystery.
Now that my ranting is over, I really love the way you've handled the characterization of the cast and the power, and I really hope as Naruto's intelligence improves you'll be able to write that effectively

I have to say I'm having a hard time imagining who he can revive as a summon. It's not like he's used to leaving bodies behind. As for the toads, I like them, the question is whether they'll fit his progress. And since he'll have summons already, it could actually be just a small clan/family of summons like Kakashi's dogs. Like 9 Bears for the symbolic.
And I never really care if it's OP or smart or neither, I just need consistency. If he's OP, don't invent difficulties that have no reason to be. If he's smart, let him actually think and deduce things, dismantle canon, who cares.
Anyway, with him able to raise the dead, we can only wait for Haku and Zabuza to die I guess X)

I don’t really like this. Naruto world had enough interesting things, adding Solo Leveling mechanics it’s just too much.
I don’t like Solo Leveling, I read the entire webcomic because of the drawing, but the story is the most Gary Stu thing I’ve ever saw (including SAO).
I guess the Solo Leveling novel was better, but the necromancer power is not something that match with Naruto world, only one similar Jutsu was enough to ruin the entire "4th shinobi war" arc.
I’m going to read the next chapters, but my hopes are low right now.
Naruto already have an army made out of shadow clones and it’s broken as fuck.
The system forcing its user to do something in that way is horrible, it kills my interest in The Gemer power.
Necromancer is not the same thing as Shadow Monarch, Necromencer uses literal rotten bodies, Shadow Monarch uses the soul and mana of a living being. Soooo i don’t understand your first question.

There are so many legendary shinobi that could make a great part of his undead army. Not to mention potential Edo Tensei shenanigans in the future.
Being able to affect the soul in any way shape or form is a pretty big deal in Naruto, as well. Combine that with possible fleshcrafting being available as a necromancer... interested to see if those two things come into play with Chakra what with it being a mix between Yin and Yang, Spiritual and Physical .
I like the toads, but something more related to death might be appropriate if he is to become a Necromancer. In Japan Butterflies are seen to be the incarnation of the soul and spirit of the departed flying away to the afterlife. Something I haven't seen used in fanfiction anyways.
If I wanted a dumb Naruto that remains disappointing and doesn't really leverage all they have, or live up to their potential I'd stick with canon. :V
But yeah, I tend to prefer a stronger, smarter Naruto. It is nice when it isn't completely unbelievable or really over the top and ridiculous though.

For question 1 don’t know how you want to do it if Haku survives or not I think personally what you could do have it so you can make Zabuza be a shadow but he can’t actually summon him properly yet he could talk to him for maybe training purposes but until he gets to a certain level he can’t summon him because he is so much stronger then him can summon Haku if he’s a shadow adding onto that I am somewhat interested if you can make shadows stronger because at that level from a certain point Haku might not be used for any more unless can level up
As for question 2 I really like the toads but I do think a different summoning contract more based around his new job class would be better and personally I just want to see something else we always see him with the toads for obvious reasons and fandom when they make him over a powered something like dragons. I would really like to see something new but personally at the end it’s your story and despite what I said there I have no preferences aside from something new if you can
I would like it if he can discover that he can learn new things for practice thoughA basic example being he reads a book on fuinjutsu practices and it levels it up or even non-ninja arts like blacksmithing so we can maybe make a weapon like the seven ninja swords in the future if you levelled up to max I learned other arts to help with it because it seems like he just hasn’t figured that out yet and I know he is not currently the brightest tall in the shed so to speak but I would like to hope he figures it out before the chunin exams
