This is a great start, but I feel like you should describe more of Naruto's surroundings, like say...saying that Naruto had leave his apartment, moved to his classroom and then go to the rooftop? It's just that I feel like you are focusing wayy too much on Naruto's thoughts and the gaming system.
It's really funny how Naruto and the system interacts tho, also how did Naruto even got the system? Anyways, back to what I was saying, it'd be really nice if you put more details to where Naruto goes, what he do And ect.
Also, will Naruto's personality and goal change? Really hope that it does. Cuz in my own opinion, giving Naruto the system should change him in both his personality and goals: Example being Sung Jinwoo(I know you know who this is.) At the beginning Jinwoo had no backbone, easily gets scared and shows more emotions but later when progress more with the system he changed, he became almost emotionless, become more brave and bolder too.
That kind of thing, really want to see what kind of changes can appear in Naruto.
I know I might be late, but I really hope that the system would be able to give/download the basics of how to make the system work to Naruto.
As for the pairing, I really just hope that for the love of all god's that you don't use an overused pairing, but...I wonder if there will be solo leveling characters that are gonna appear? Hm, it'll really be interesting... anyways, as for the pairings I recommend yugito or maybe a solo leveling girl? I think you should go with a solo leveling girl tho.

I think Naruto should use a Kusarigama. Rarely used even though its a classic shinobi themed weapon

This is honestly a great start! I love Gamer stories and can't wait to see how you progress with it. The only criticism I'd have is that maybe the Shikamaru interaction at the end felt a little off, but other than that, your writing is great!

No weapon. Focus on Taijutsu and eventually, maybe, Nintaijutsu. A weapon is unnecessary when you're somebody like Naruto, who's maximum potential lends itself to absurd levels of strength/speed. Unless you gave him some super-special weapon, none of them are gonna hold up when you reach the levels of strength EOS Naruto does. Plus, weapons are overused in Naruto fanfics, imo.

Boruto is a pretty cool manga the anime is alot worse but the manga is actually good and some of the characters are really cool like jigen and kawaki

I would prefer smart naruto but with his normal personality unless something changes his outlook on life or something and naruto shouldn't become op until later but he should definitely be strong
