Interesting idea with Naruto picking his own affinity, I don't think I ever saw something like that before. As for the affinity itself, I personally prefer either lighting or wind, but I think original Naruto would pick fire for the flashiness... you could always go with making the picked one a secondary affinity with his original wind being the primary.

I think his element should be water, he could be like Kisame and Tobirama cause of his huge chakra pool he would not need a water source to perform his jutsu's.
Boruto is ok when the focus on the canon parts of it.

In my own opinion, give Naruto red lightning as main element, as the secondary elements can be wind and water. All three affinity can be extremely versatile.

good chapter my dude keep up the good work. as for the affinity I think his first affinity should be wind like in Cannon and for the second one is water since uzumakis where from the land of whirlpools if that's not enough then he might chose it to counter sasukes fire jutsus. also what boruto? there is no spin-off of naruto where the old characters get Nerf and the main mc sucks.

Go for wind and water for affinity. Maybe lightning for the trifecta and have it be a weaker affinity he got from Minato, cause I can see his dad as lightning affinity.
Some boruto episodes are fire and the fights can be super amazing, but I’m not liking some of the character choices and developments. I’m still hung up on the fact that Naruto was a shitty dad that sent a clone to his daughter’s birthday. Like wtf?

1: can naruto get the uzumaki chakra chains before fighting neji
2: can naruto have wind and water affinities (as you can have more then one and uzumaki had huge affinity for wind or/and water (if I remember my info correctly that is)
