What the series did after nagato attacked konoha ruined it for me.
From an underdog that trains into a garbage parasitic alien space ninja god.
The whole garbage tat is the 4th war is just cherry on top.
THe only reedeming thing about the war is mada was not just hype, he is what he was hyped to be.
OP fucker that could clobber anyone, the rest is a disappointment.
He was a loud mouth prankster, making him a bard would be funny and makes him even a louder headache, but nah.
An arcane trickster would be nice, casting illusions, like casting a wall and hide behind it to trick people, but nah.
A shadow sorcerrer would complement zabuza thingy, hound of ill omen would add to the shadow zabuza even more, but nah.
Making him a berserker barbarian would be nice, but nah.
Phantom rogue would be nice, since he can borrow zabuza sword an all, making him able to borrow a skill for 1 day of someone dead is awesome, but nah.
Go with whatever you fancy is my point.
It will be just as disappointing as the original series when it eventually get to the 4th war.

Do take a look at pathfinder, shadow run, white wolf table top games, DnD, call of cthullu TTRPG if you are going to go for subclasses. Don't do anime shit, its bound to be garbage since most of good anime abilities are OP for OP sake.
Make it interesting not boring please. This is a "gamer""litRPG" hybrid you are writing, anyone that has gaming system is bound to be OP by the middle of the story, and OP as hell near the end or at the end.
Some low power fantasy such as demon slayer are fine, that would be my benchmark for anime subclasses. BUT, seriously don't pick anime shit for subclasses, there are better option from TTRPG.

The story's going pretty well so far. The crossover abilities don't feel like they are too out of the ordinary or take zero effort to use. For the questions:
I think an interesting subclass could be a healer type class. After witnessing Hiruzen lose his arm, he might feel strongly about doing something to help. Also means he would have both powers over life and death if that were the case, which is kinda cool for any kid.
I think Obito doesn't zip around collect Jinchuuriki because he doesn't have control of the Rinnegan. He has to defer to Nagato to use the Rinnegan to seal the beasts as per the plan. So there could be some room for fun politics there.

As a person and ninja? I'd say monk/martial artist. Naruto having literally facing a manifestation of his hate, and amongst other minor things really paints him to be monkish.
Also Naruto has most definitely has a taste for Taijutsu. Only really using other skills to augument it, rather than being a pure ninjutsu spam.

While obito could have kidnapped the jinchuuriki, they didnt because it was just a game, or stalling. The akatsuki were tools to gather resources and funds, now they had no worth, so they were ordered to hunt down the jinchuuriki where they all soloed their missions for reasons, and it didnt matter if they died.
Orochimaru was probably or unknownly working for black zetsu, who wanted a back up in case something happened to nagato or madaras rinnegan

I think it would be cool for naruto to get a Sensor nin/Fuuinjutsu based Scout subclass. After all, the Uzumaki clan is known for their Fuuinjutsu, and the extrasensory abilities that he gets when Kurama finally gets over his emo arc would probably synergize pretty well with a Fuuinjutsu/Sensor nin scout's subclass skills, not to mention that once Sakura presumably learns from Tsunade like in canon, the scout/Fuuin specialist would be the only roles still available.

truly, this version lfsasuke is despicable, preventing fuu from saying her mind, how rude. I also think the best subclass for Naruto is runemaster. Naruto ad a person is usually seen as a prankster, though in this fanfiction he’s more serious, runes can have trickster uses as well so that would fit him as a person. As a ninja, well he’s a uzumaki, they specialize in seals, runes ate basically advanced or a type of seals, so it would fit him.
As for obito not just teleporting to all the jinchuriki, I’d say mainly because lf B, B was to strong for him to teleport to and zip away without a foght that would alert all of kumo, he’d need the 8 tails before he seals naruto, so if he cant get B within a few weeks after the first jinchuriki was captured, everyone would know that someone is taking tailed beasts and would be on guard. Therefore they needed to receuit a strong group of S rank missing ninja

Nice chapter! Subclass? That's kinda hard to think. The one on top of my head is sage, but that's too early, maybe a step back and go for druid or monk or something, then sage along the way.
Fighter, warrior, bruiser, berserker and battle mage, all kinda makes sense for canon Naruto. Idk which one makes more sense for your Naruto tho, as I said before I don't really think solo leveling powers suit Naruto, but since we're already here you could go for something that compliments that too.
