I know people finding out about Venom was likely inevitable, but that's probably the best way it could come out.
Voldemort didn't learn any of Venom's weaknesses, like the noise frequency that causes him pain. The Death Eaters know, but can't do anything with the information.
If Dumbledore or The Order knew, Albus could likely legally force Harry into medical care to remove Venom. The Death Eaters can't use the info to attack Harry without revealing what happened, and it'll cause them to avoid him as much as possible.
Voldemort himself won't be hesitant to attack Harry - he believes he is immortal, so he need not fear - but Harry is now much safer because of the Death Eater's fearing him.
Voldemort will make a beeline for the prophecy now though. I don't think he'd wait for a long plan like in canon, he'll need to know how to beat Harry, which he believes it may know.

I'm glad to see that Voldemort won't get his own symbiote, but I'm surprised Harry and Venom revealed themselves like that and allowed so many to escape. That's only going to complicate things later for them isn't it? Will that bit of symbiite from Voldemort add any hidden knowledge from Voldemort like obscure spells or the locations of his horcruxes?

Not done with the chapter but Dumbledore knowing about Luna's creatures is something so funny LMAO. I can actually picture him with the glasses on, reading the Quibbler to Fawkes & the Sorting Hat. I need to find stories where that dynamic just sort of happens out of nowhere. Thank you for a very good laugh there

I really hope that you keep moRon & the bookworm at arm's length. Really, it's Fuck both of them in this story. I'm not an avid Hermione basher but when it's deserved & done in stories, then I'm all for it. Same with Ron...but to a lesser extent also.
But yeah, they can both go piss up a tree in this one. All the crap Harry has went through, and he's technically younger than them, and they want to act like dickheads? To hell with them both.
