Yeah, Harry lack of foresight is really tedious. While the writting is nice and flow is great. Harrys actions and his lack of ability to learn from his mostakes is annoying. He also keep saying how little he does, but absolutely nothing to make a difference. This Harry has only been passive, with the exception of the horcruxes.

Did Harry ever consider going undergroup and just play blitzkrig with the Death Eaters? Its been 2 chapters and we havent heard anything on how Harry will try to resolve this. Marlene mentioned the culprit tried to get leadership, we with META knowledge knows. But shouldnt Harry think of it as strange? Why not go around and use legilimence on a few of them or isnt he desperate enough?

So what is Harry going to do to keep his friends safe? Why did he react so much when he already knew Tom was in the Castle? If he assumed Tom himself came and didnt react more then welcome the challenge, why would he react so much for a bloody diary?

This chapter was ridiculous. Harry was willing to risk the bloody elder wand for some classroom drama. Use his bloody connections or get out of school. Him being at the school is a waste of time.
The troop where a learned and older Harry goes through school instead of actually making an active difference is pretty tedious, overused and again, makes no sense. He could just sneak in and out

The rope tightens and the teenage drama angst was completely unnecessary. Once again foresight Harry is spot on! He fears for her and we still see no measures to keep her safe.
Watching how tense it is getting is nice tho, but Harry not realizing Marlene saying Voldemort left and right is going to trigger the taboo when it is in place. Why would he even spout the word around like that? Why not make fun of his title? Like "the upstart dark lord" or "the delusional half blood"?

Secrets shared danger shared. Marlene is now in some serious danger. Harry is now a high profile target for Tom and he should know it. But we javent seen any thoughts on how he will protect those he cares about.

This Harry is all over the place. He was "ready" and resolved himself to kill when he went back. Yet spent a long time doing nothing. Kept saying it isnt the time yet, but still manages to gcreate one shit show after another. The only thing he has accomplished is destroying 2 horcruxes and making some allies, but that only made Tom more vary and to probably gide the remaining horcruxes somewhere else.
Any accomplishment he has made was mostky through pure luck or coincidence. Him killing Lucius making Tom lose money was a coincidence.
He went from 25 academic minded to a 15 year old arrogant dick. He was apparently willing to duke it out with the Flamels not caring about the aftermath or probably not even thinking about, as he often has done lately. Not thinking about the repercussions of his actions. Yet going after death eather to kill them is too much.
The problem about these type of MCs is that they can rely on luck however they want. They can screw up as much as they want because their main villain wont act or hit him where it hurts most

He is established to be a learned academic. Did he never consider what would happen if two identical time displaced objects encountered each other? If he wants to be honest, why not promise her the truth when this is all over? He already explained legilimence is a very real threat.
The only reason why the MCs loved ones arent kidnapped for some stupid reason is because a capable villain is too hard for the MC to fight. Tom might be arrogant and such, but given all the setbacks he have encountered. He would jump at any opportunity to learn more about Harry to kill him.
