Secont reading if this story. Good story probably one my least favorite of your stories but still 7/10. Wish he told his family and Elm that he was alive pretty sure both of them can keep it secret.
Ozpin and Ironwood could figure it out the moment they confirm kill one of salem Lts and they pop back up which would be interesting since most likely someone on team rwby is the fall maiden and all that

Huh... honestly yeah I can see this friendship between Jaune and Mercury kicking off like this. With how things have been for Jaune in the last few years it makes sense he would appreciate someone like Mercury.

Mercury ended up being Team Cinder's MVP, who would have thought? He maybe got both Jaune AND Pyrrha for them. And he did all that just by casually being himself. He was just the right person, at the right place, at the right time.

Man I wish Jaune wasn't such a punkass bitch and actually suffered the consequence of igniting a continental race war but nah instead he's getting pegged in a fairytale village while ignoring that he has more blood on his hands and lives he ruined than he ever saved.

This is just a worse version of null where Jaune is just a spineless rat. Pyrrha is a nothing character and just gave up trying to for Weiss a third of a way through, she gets her througt slit, DIES and gets a unironic legitimate phobia for the faunes only for to get swept under the rug with a time skip and no follow through. JUST so you could have one of the most bland, draw out unappealing love triangle I have ever read.
What was the thought process that this would be satisfying to anyone?
