Whew! Finally caught up (I think).
I have to wonder just how long it will take for Deku-sensei to realize that something is bothering Aoyama. Because once that happens every attempt on Aoyama's part to deny any problem will merely serve to convince Deku-sensei that there most definitely is a problem (after all those years spent hiding his problems, it will almost feel like he's looking in a mirror).

Let me preface this by saying that I greatly enjoy this story! It’s very heartwarming and is a very fun read, but I have some genuine questions. Please don’t flame me! Is it really necessary for practically every single character to have some kind of issue/problem? It’s getting to the point where I feel like I need to take notes to remember every person’s triggers, mental problems, and trauma. To be fair, most of them make sense, but giving lida “prey instincts” seems like such a wild reach and really makes no sense. I feel like it takes away too much of their character and makes them seem overly helpless. They’re supposed to be heroes in training, and of course many of these hangouts can be worked through, but it just feels like there’s too many negatives and almost no positives about their quirk/chsracter. Even the adult heroes who’ve been in the business for years and years seem like children. Another thing is how you’ve made the world and other characters out to be so evil and unaccepting that it’s practically comical. The main characters come off as this “holier than thou” attitude and it’s hard to take seriously sometimes. Every main character seems to always be right, and every person they interact with outside of their group is always wrong no matter what. Im sorry for the rant, but im genuinely curious on your thought process! Once again, I do enjoy this story and will continue to enjoy it!

Rereading the chapter, I think Monoma's quirk should be "Borrowing" or "Rent," instead of "Copy," since he can only temporarily use the powers he acquires, and if it were a copy, he could access them again after having obtained them for the first time.
As for Fumikage, you could make his quirk Shadow Telepathy, but for that, he would have to be "touching" the shadow of his target, to create a "link" between Fumi and his target. That and having the conscious desire to connect with the shadow and communicate with it, otherwise he wouldn't feel anything. I mean, in the chapter he mentions that he made shadow creatures created by a quirk talk, but it's different to talk to something without will than to something with thought, as if a person were to talk to an animal figure/toy and want it to respond like the real animal.

Apparently Monoma doesn't realize yet that "Problem Child" is practically Aizawa's standard term for his students (at least those whom he doesn't expel - and right now Deku-sensei seems to be building up a reputation in that regard which may exceed even his own).
