not that it matters since grim would probably fold like wet carboard agaist anything with a bonus agaisnt "beast", but it is 10 right? at least a couple of them should be, nevermind the need for ng for that
I didn't want to speculate before since i was so far behind, i had thought the unlocking is what would have allowd the use of the mist or some other similar mechanic
also also, damn you for just having a piece of her left behind, was so hopping for that reunion
we've seen traces of the 4 stooges before so i wasn't super concerned there, tho that did not make the whole scene any less

A good moment as any to go back to fatalities, nevermind the faceless npcs that drop like flies in situations such as this, but more to the point of "between OC's and canon which would i care more to see dispatched" i've come to like your ocs more than a lot of canon ones, even the hotel manager I'd take over a few of them
anyhow, as i only managed to power through vol.3, where the series started this trend of killing people i like (is cinder dead already btw, in canon? nvm that doesnt matter), so i don't really know all the character fodder that could be downed without impacting the story too greatly
that is to say, way to go with a bang, but if it had to be that way, man could it not have been a bit closer to the masked convoy

how deep will Jaune go into the dungeons I wonder, because noone really gets all the way down to the Queen, grindy as it is, but that'd be an interesting interaction me thinks, with him looking for answers and she doing a great impression of a sprinkler, only its blood and poison

could have mentioned it before i suppose, but it's not that big of a deal on its own, untill i read it enough to mention it
just about everyone has got tons of open fields wherein they grow their fucks don't they? there sure seems to be plenty of fucks to give
jest aside, its more of a writer comment. not that i am one mind you, but more than once i've heard throwing fucks arround can quickly turn into a crutch, can make characters personalities blend together when under duress

man, 36 and cannon is "on the horizon"
drags a bit don't it?
honestly i was hoping for faster progression to beacon, and maybe for the characters to be a wee bit older to start off, and i know it was a poll and all but an over 6 foot 13yo (and still growing!?) feels like such a stretch, figuratively and literaly, you want him to match and surpass the Doll by the end Don'tcha? just hope it happens after growth spurs are supposed to happen, that or succeeding a great one is one hell of a hormone stimulant (asuming we went for that ending)
Jaune could have stood to be older is all im saying, this whole interaction during the fireworks would have been better if i didnt have that age looming over head, orr has the same issue as jokingly as her advances are
not gonna bore you much more, it has its good parts, combat, world building and the dream "memories" are the best by a mile, character interactions go from really great to just alright, romance is meh, but all the rwby pairings are as such for me so maybe that's why, they feel a bit too modern and laid back for a death word wherein civilization hangs on by a thread i'd say, when the author notes mentioned this i was hopeful we would avoid the topic all together but well, ondwards we go i suppose
anyhow, Jaune being trapped in a world where he ages and became somewhat of a bad ass has been performed fatastically here, much better than canon, that much is undeniable
moot point since i'm not yet up to date but i wish he would just explain the dream already, dont even need to explain it well, justs say that the tusk knocked him out (killed him) and he dream of a world where he hunted endlessly, after which he woke with a start and by instict went to help whom he thought was juts a child in peril, the time lapse can be explained as the whole dream happened in a matter of seconds and blame REM sleep on it, or blame salem and some weird magic interaction from the brothers or something

Probably way too late for my input but personally, while i would love to see him go to Beacon he seem rather overqualified. And if he did go to Beacon, i hope he gets with none of the main cast, romantically. Like, all of them are just bad imo

There are 2 things I hate about canon RWBY Mistral.
1) The fact that its Oriental (which is a stupid mishmash of Chinese and Japanese because the west are stupid), mixed with FUCKING GREEK. LIKE WHY THE FUCK GREEK.
2) the country wasn't fully or at least, well explored in the canon. The rampant banditry aside, the societal problems wasn't explored much beyond "there's a shit ton of bandits and there's a shit ton of mafia". The mafia people doesn't even look Oriental.
