A near 80 year experience of being shinobi but gone done by such careless mistake. Since it wasn't like his weakness or her sound powers were unknown to him. I hope it isnt like those other fic where author's put fown mc just to show that he is not invincible but they dont care how they excute it. Like I dont mind him falling but jyst wish it was done well.
On an lighter note- is his fox just buffs his physical stats and senses? or does it have something else too to make it stand out? Wish he had some powers from kurama, and I am not talking about chakra cloak, or the biju bomb or gigantification but something like how kurama was able to extent his tails and use them as appendage. Also wish he had multiple tails too lol.
Bit I can see why you didn't include it too since it would be too powerful and sod breaking, especially since you are aiming for a technical fighting style fic. But still wish he had something from kurama as a momento lol.

Why help izuku tho especially after the reasoning he laid out at his feet. I dont like izuku as a character since like you said if people with quirk are training their body (like the big hand girl or the monkey boy) since they were kid just for their dream, izuku too should have put some effort(infact he should have put atleast ten times their effort since he is already disadvantaged). But no he kept bitching and living in his fantasy wishing for some magical powerup that will do his work for him.
That why I dont like mha since it spits on the fundamental truth that hardwork makes you achieve anything even if it seems impossible. But it to me rather feels like it reinforces the idea ofbe useless, dont put effort and wait for your nonexistent power up.

Why had AFO had his “eyesteehee) on the chains quirk? You make it sound like he’s been after it for a while, but why? The better option is literally right there in the hands of Aizawa? It just requires eye contact and it isn’t slow and bulky like the chains, so I don’t get why he would be so adamant on getting this quirk. Now you might say because he can’t use it because he got disfigured but that’s only been for a couple of years, and the way you described he’s been hunting for the chains for decades so why didn’t he just go for Aizawa if he one of the quirk canceller?
