Since it's canon that Yor's never had her first kiss, nor been in a relationship prior to the arrangement with Loid (far as we know anyway), I don't think her being a virgin is a creative liberty. Seems more of a reasonable extension of the above imo
That aside, don't feel bad - exploring what-ifs are one of the reasons people read (and enjoy) fanfics in the first place, with the more the better, generally. Normal lemon/mature content fics are hardly in the realm of "You shouldn't be making a story like this". Not even close, really
