This update made so so happy, thank you! This fic is so underrated, I just love and missed it so much! This chapter in particular felt so cinematic and it’s so interesting to see your Snape in such a position of power. He’s so scary but I feel like I can trust him even surrounded by so many monsters. As someone who’s very attached to my own family (and pets) and to my sister in particular, I really resonate with Alice when she thinks and worries about hers. Alice’s anger imagining those awful and cruel people being friends with her dad and her losing control when Noah ask her about her mom made me feel for her. The pacing is so good, there’s still so much mystery, and Nilsia, you’re such a great storyteller. The descriptions and dialogues and your characters are all so well written. I’m truly obsessed, as you already know. s2 xxx
