Again, nice callback to the show! And I liked the little bit of therapy at the end where Tessa can begin to overcome her fears - felt like a hopeful start!
One of the issues I’ve often had with 90s and 00s television is how the characters always seem to “reset” each episode as if the previous ordeals never bothered them - or that there were hardly any in-show references to previous events. More recent shows seem to explore this more. Then again, I remember Tessa’s reaction in Cry Wolf, and I’m pretty sure that’s a reaction to what happened in Deadline - so that was a great moment to have for character development! Would’ve liked to see Steve drop his shields more, though, like he did in Cat and Mouse, as well as Heartstopper.
