Great story! I really liked this one. Given Tessa’s adoration of her father, she probably would’ve been at his work more than once. And the last scene! Poor Tessa, being so strong and yet not when she’s made the ID. That’s a nice bit of head-canon, by the way; her being the one who’d gone to the morgue. Thank you for this story! Don’t be surprised if I’m inspired by it. :)
