Yato is a good kid. And he is right, Yukine deserved a second chance.
It's so sad that with the exception of Yukine, every other Shinki ended up leaving Yato. Yato didn't deserve that. The very fact that he released his Shinki when they asked for it is proof of his kindness and willingness to do better. Unlike his father, Yato would never force himself on anyone or force anyone to be with him.

Didn't see the Yukine pov coming at the end, but it ties them altogether beautifully. And the convos! I love them, they each have such distinct character.

There's lots of fics that are about this part of the story, but I don't think I've ever read one that goes into so much detail about the implications as you do here?
I feel like the setting and dialog are your strongest skills, and so I always enjoy just reading them over and over. The ending is also really sweet! And the depiction of their relationships too. I just really liked it(*︶*). I rly hope to read you later! I'm very excited for some of the fics you have prepared in your bio( ੭ ･ᴗ･ )੭
