Your premise is fkjn ridiculous, how tf is a 17 yr old a fourth year? Also why tf is there any other Frenchie fourth year students in Hogwarts when im sure that Gabrielle didn't visit fluer before the first task they didn't bring the qhole School damnit, they wouldn't fit on that damn carriage enchanted and I'm pretty sure they just bring the candidates to be, truly ridiculous. all the antagonists seemed beligerently stupid though. Kinda felt like Harry was bullying a bunch of soecial needs kids. After reading thru this the age up of the characters did in fact seem super unnecessary. Gonna have to go with my initial feeling on it its just a stupid concept to have functional adults go to hogwarts. Also 5 years is an obnoxiously long engagment. Plus with the whole they can back out at any time made the betrothal worthless. Lord Black and Lord Greengrass should have just gone to their heirs and said *its fine if you two start dating, also if you decide to get married later on thats fine to* cause that is functionally the same thing. Betrothal agreements existed in the weatern world until about a century ago. Its always kind of dumb when people try to put a modern muggle dating twist on them. Cause it just makes the actually betrothal think little more then permission to get married later on if they so choose to

I really like the idea of this story and the pairing is cool. Its a pretty funny and interesting depiction of Gabriel. Really question the necessity of aging up everyone though. At this point the tournament is over Harry is already an adult in the wizarding world and will be 18 in July so an adult in the muggle world. Why would he stay with anyone let alone the Dursleys. This also means he will be attending Hogwarts into his 20s. So its just normal for 20 year old witches and wizards to be treated like children with curfews and detentions and shit like that? Does that mean you gonna have married 5th years? Its sounds like a geeat potential story but i always hate the hogwarts starts at a later age premise? It just creates so many problems and the only decernable reason i can think to why authors keep using it is they want to put younger years in adult situations. In this story with Harry already being an adult it makes no sense for him to bow down to authority and let himself be sent to live with his relatives. It makes no sense to allow himself to be treated as a child
