for A Supe of a Man

I wonder what this version of Indira Shetty thinks of Superman because according to the Gen V TV show, her husband and her daughter were in the flight that Homelander supposedly let crash in the Boys TV show, but to change the storyline, I think her husband and her daughter died in Superman's fight with Atomic Skull since a lot of civilians died when Atomic Skull, Chemo, and El Diablo were released into Los Angeles.

It will be very interesting to see Indira Shetty's thoughts on the revelation of Superman's alien heritage to the world, and with Stan Edgar being General Zod, no doubt leading to Mary Clark, Sam Lane, and Indira Shetty concluding that the supe virus would kill every supe but it won't kill Superman or his daughter.

This realization will no doubt lead to Sam Lane deciding to create a weapon to fight Superman like he did in the Superman Secret Origin comic when he helped Lex Luthor create Metallo through the DOD soldier John Corben.

I noticed that the similarities between Billy Butcher and Sam Lane rival that of the similarities between Batman and Deathstroke: their drive to fight, their combative skills, their will to do whatever is necessary to win, but the one and only difference between Batman and Deathstroke is that Batman has more compassion than Deathstroke, just like Billy Butcher has more compassion than this version of Sam Lane does. Deathstroke was always seen as the shadow archetype of Batman or an evil version of Batman, and this version of Sam Lane who is also Deathstroke is currently seen as the shadow archetype of Billy Butcher. This makes me wonder if this version of Billy Butcher can become something similar to Absolute Batman from the Absolute Batman comics, which was a version of Bruce Wayne that never grew up with the billionaire money but possessed the same skills as Batman, while making his own armor, gadgets, and Batmobile all as a city engineer and construction worker by day.

Billy Butcher being the most qualified member of the Boys to become the Batman of this universe is why I think Billy Butcher should go to Lois Lane instead of Mother's Milk for information on the Payback team, because Billy Butcher trusts Lois Lane more on gathering information than the other members of the Boys due to her skills as a reporter, and this can play a part in Lois Lane giving Billy Butcher advice not to blackmail the supes because of what happened with Lamplighter, which can lead to Billy Butcher deciding to plan an ambush and beat the information out of Gunpowder instead of blackmailing him like he did in the Boys TV show. Lois Lane should also give the suggestion to wear a mask in case Gunpowder escapes so that he won't identify Billy Butcher now that Vought knows about the Boys.

While Billy Butcher doesn't care if Vought and the supes know who he is, wearing a mask would keep the Boys' loved ones from being targeted by the supes and Vought, which is something that Billy Butcher would understand.

I heard in the DC comics that Deathstroke's super soldier serum gives someone toxin immunity and resurrection abilities unless their brain is destroyed or they lose their head, so unlike Compound V, Deathstroke's super soldier serum would cure Billy Butcher and give him all of Deathstroke's powers if Billy Butcher survives the injection. If Sam Lane learns about Billy Butcher's cancer from overuse of Temp V thanks to him always keeping tabs on the Boys, it can lead to Sam Lane having thoughts about using the super soldier serum to save Billy Butcher since it would give Billy Butcher powers without leaving Billy Butcher vulnerable to the supe virus that Sam Lane is already making by funding the Woods. If Slade Wilson was able to replicate an exact copy of the super soldier serum from his own DNA in the comics, I'm sure Sam Lane can do the same thing and make an attempt to see if the exact same super soldier serum can either kill Billy Butcher or cure Billy Butcher's cancer.

If Sam Lane knew about Temp V killing someone, he would've warned Billy Butcher not to waste the times to use Temp V, but he didn't, which means that Sam Lane doesn't know, so I wonder how Sam Lane is going to react if he learns about the effects of Temp V, deciding whether or not to warn others about it. This is why as soon as Billy Butcher gets brain cancer from Temp V, Sam Lane will no doubt give Billy Butcher the offer of getting Deathstroke's super soldier serum in an attempt to cure Billy Butcher's cancer.

If Billy Butcher gets all of Deathstroke's powers, he can be just as dangerous as Batman and Deathstroke by having his brain work at 90% instead of 10%, allowing him to learn things 9 times faster than the average human can like Deathstroke does, possibly leading to him surpassing Lois Lane as a detective since Lois Lane obviously has Deathstroke's powers including the ability to have her brain work at 90%.

I heard that in some universes, despite General Zod's differences with Brainiac, there were times when they teamed up against Superman, and in the Absolute Superman comics, it showed Brainiac having full control over an organization called Lazarus which was run by Peacemakers and Lois Lane being a military soldier among them. Brainiac is smart enough to do the same in Vought if he wanted to thanks to Brainiac possessing knowledge from thousands of worlds. Brainiac's plans are always the same, harvesting knowledge from every planet before destroying them and every living being on the planets, but most versions of Brainiac choose to bottle the most technologically advanced city that is full of inhabitants from that planet before destroying the planet and all life that surrounds that city. This was why Brainiac had the bottled city of Kandor with him before Superman freed the people of Kandor, but Brainiac never destroyed Krypton because Brainiac noticed that the planet was going to be destroyed anyway, so there was no use in wasting resources to destroy Krypton.

If Brainiac shows up in this storyline, he can disguise himself as a human being named Milton Fine, exactly like in the DC comics. If there's anyone in the DC comics is smart enough to make a supe virus to kill all the supes but spare the lives of all of the Kryptonians, it would be either Lex Luthor or Brainiac.

In some versions of the DC comics, Brainiac was able to hide his technology from Earth for years while bottling cities from other planets, destroying them after harvesting all of their knowledge, but always waiting for Superman to show up on Earth before making a move on Earth. If Stan Edgar/General Zod made a deal with Brainiac, having Brainiac harvest knowledge from thousands of planets before destroying them and bottling one of their cities as a souvenir, then Brainiac could've helped make Compound V and the supe virus.

If Brainiac shows up in this storyline, I can't wait to see the Boys' thoughts on an alien AI that harvests knowledge from thousands of planets before destroying them. Superman can fight General Zod one-on-one in an epic battle and win, but both General Zod and Brainiac together is too much for Superman to handle alone, which is why he would need his Justice League and the Boys together.

I hope to see what Superman's Justice League formation will do when General Zod decides to reveal Superman's alien heritage to the world which Superman said so himself that it would lead to public backlash against him and people being afraid of him because they don't know anything about Krypton. This can lead to Superman having an interview where he explains everything about how he arrived on Earth, how the Kents found him and adopted him, and why he kept it a secret from the world.

I also can't wait to see Mary Clark's reaction when she learns that Clark Kent, the nephew she has known his whole life, was never a V'd up baby as she believed, but an alien from another planet, it will no doubt be a massive shock and Mary would understand why her sister and Jonathan Kent kept it a secret.

Can't wait to see how the Boys season 3 storyline will be affected with Superman, Deathstroke, Wonder Woman, Lois Lane, and Lucy Lane all playing a huge key role in this storyline!

According to the DC comics, unlike Jericho, all of Slade Wilson's other children were given powers from being injected by the exact same super soldier serum that Slade Wilson had, either for a pursuit of power or because Slade Wilson wanted his kids to be able to protect themselves, only Jericho was born with powers, but his powers were that he could transfer his conscience to anyone's minds, taking control of their bodies, but leaving his own body vulnerable in the process.

If Sam Lane figured out how to replicate the super soldier serum from his DNA like Slade Wilson did in the DC comics, it is possible he could've injected Lois Lane and Lucy Lane with the serum which explains why Lois Lane was strong enough to rip open a sofa and hurt Starlight's hand, which means Lois Lane has Sam Lane's powers but doesn't know the fullest extent of them, being able to use 90% of her brain instead of 10% like an average human being, and possessing super strength, enhanced durability, superhuman reflexes, and a healing factor, but Lois Lane never knew she had powers, so maybe Superman can explain the fullest extent of her powers with his super senses.

If Sam Lane figured out how to replicate the super soldier serum, there is the possibility he can also offer that same serum to the Boys. If this super soldier serum has no affiliation with Compound V which is why Sam Lane has no problem creating the supe virus to kill everyone with Compound V in their veins, Deathstroke's super soldier serum can be used by Sam Lane to cure Billy Butcher's cancer from overuse of Temp V, giving Billy Butcher an exact copy of Deathstroke's powers including his brain working at 90% instead of 10%.

If both Hughie Campbell and Billy Butcher are injected with the super soldier serum that gave Sam Lane and Slade Wilson their powers as Deathstroke, then that can lead to Billy Butcher and Hughie Campbell becoming super-powered vigilantes that attack supes from the shadows.

I think either Hughie Campbell or Billy Butcher being injected with Deathstroke's super soldier serum after their experience with Temp V would give them the abilities they need to become something very close to Batman and Nightwing.

I have a new question now that Sam Lane is Deathstroke and Lois Lane is strong enough to hurt Starlight, I heard in the DC comics that all of Slade Wilson’s children got powers not from inheritance but from being injected with the exact serum, whether it was because the kids wanted power or Slade Wilson forcibly injected them in the belief he was protecting them from danger.

Is it possible that Sam Lane injected his own daughters with the same super soldier serum in the belief he was protecting them from Vought’s supes?

Sam Lane in the DC comics was willing to force his daughters to learn military training at such a young age, so I can see this version of Sam Lane willing to give his daughters powers to protect themselves.

I wonder how Lois Lane and Lucy Lane would react to learning about that if Sam Lane willingly and knowingly gave them powers in hopes of protecting them from supes.

Great story but the dates a quite confusing.
In chapter 14 it takes place in 2022, but in the next chapter it takes place in 2020.

Just realized, Superman's team up with the Boys is similar to Superman's team up with the Authority, like the Boys, the Authority were people who took the most extreme measures to save lives, but Superman was willing to team up with them when it matters despite his dislike towards their methods. The Authority are super-powered individuals or technology-enhanced individuals who all take the most extreme methods all to better the planet without regard to politics, similar to the Boys but the Boys do that only against the supes and Vought. Superman chose to team up with the Authority to guide them to becoming a more positive force for good than the Authority ever was in the past.

Maybe Superman can do the same thing with the Boys since they were formed under the intention to stop Vought's corruption and stop the Superhuman Apocalypse.

I hope to see how this version of Superman plans to help the Boys change for the better given everything that happens in season 3, Gen V season 1, and the Boys season 4.

I heard in the My Adventures with Superman that when people got their hands in Kryptonian technology and studied all of its advancements, it led to the creations of John Henry Irons' Steel exosuit and Kinetic Hammer, the Metallo robots, the OMAC robots, the Amazo robot, and the supervillains known as the Parasite, Atomic Skull, Damage, Deathstroke who used Kryptonian technology to enhance his weaponry, and the Intergang who have always been a bunch of criminals using alien technology to rob banks.

I wonder what Kryptonian technology can unleash in the Boys universe if people are willing to study all of its advancements, since Sam Lane in the DC comics was always willing to weaponize Kryptonian technology to protect all of humanity, and John Henry Irons was willing to use his study of Kryptonian technology to help people.

Since both Sam Lane and the Boys already heard from Kara Zor-El that Kryptonian technology outclasses the technology of thousands of other alien species, this means that this version of Sam Lane will no doubt want to weaponize Kryptonian technology against the supes.

It will be very interesting to see what the Boys would think of Kryptonian technology and how if weaponized, it can level the field against supes but it is too dangerous in the wrong hands.

I don't think Lois Lane should die in this storyline, Lois Lane is now Ryan Butcher's new mother-like figure, if Lois Lane dies, Ryan Butcher will no doubt lash out against Vought because Ryan Butcher has witnessed Homelander killing Martha Kent so he has seen Homelander's true colors and knows that Homelander must be stopped eventually. She is also currently a founding member of the Boys, and the only one who can look after Mia Kent and Ryan Butcher while Superman is saving lives, and her death is not the only loss that can break Superman's will to fight.

There have been other losses that Superman faced which almost broke him until he found a way to keep going, including ones where innocent people die and other people cheer for those innocent deaths.

For example, The "New Krypton" comic arc realized a dream for Superman: A second chance for his home world. Superman saved the bottle city of Kandor and saved its population of a hundred thousand Kryptonians. Unfortunately, he failed to realize how prejudicial Kryptonians could be and that there were forces on Earth that wouldn’t stand for that many superpowered aliens existing. A cold war developed between New Krypton and Earth with Superman caught in the middle. When all was said and done, Earth's forces won and thousands of Kryptonian lives were extinguished and Superman couldn't do a thing about it. The bloodshed between Earth's forces and New Krypton's forces almost made Superman stop being a hero because he couldn't do anything about the bloodshed and the people of Earth were cheering for the deaths of thousands of innocent Kryptonians.

After the war, Superman was completely broken to the point that even Lois Lane was unable to help Superman, at least until Superman met the Legion of Superheroes from the future, where they showed Superman many superheroes in the future that strived to be just like Superman, displaying Superman's legacy in the future, leading to Superman finally regaining hope that he can help for a better tomorrow despite everything that has happened.

Can't wait to see the next chapter, especially with Sam Lane becoming more and more like the Slade Wilson Deathstroke from the DC comics who manipulates people against each other to get what he wants! All it would take is Sam Lane becoming a hired assassin like Deathstroke from the DC comics, which means if he were to take Kimiko's place in Little Nina's assassination mission, then he would finally become exactly like the Deathstroke from the DC comics. Right now, Sam Lane cares too much about revenge against the supes and believes that every supe needs to die, even his own son-in-law and granddaughter, and it is unknown what Lucy Lane is currently doing at this time.

This almost reminds of the Teen Titans Judas Contract comic when Slade Wilson blamed the Teen Titans for his son's death which led to him turning Terra into a spy against the Teen Titans to study their strengths and weaknesses to have all of them captured and handed over to HIVE where they would be experimented on. Given what happens in season 3 with Billy Butcher getting Temp V being the main reason for a division within the Boys, I can see that being part of Sam Lane's plans.

I hope to see how Temp V would affect Lois Lane, Lucy Lane, and Sam Lane given that they already have Deathstroke's super soldier serum coursing through their veins that allows their brain to utilize 9 times more than a human's full brain capacity for information processing and sorting, combined with healing abilities, enhanced strength and enhanced reflexes.

Everyone is dumb so the plot has to change the smallest amount possible. Even when characters aren't being dumb other characters get crazy thick plot armor so again the smallest amount possible changes. Its very obvious reading this in one go that the author has started and stopped the story many times over a very long period of time leading to significant tonal changes and radically different directions for the plot from chapter to chapter, especially after chapter 10ish. While I originally was interested by the concept of the story the numerous problems in it have made this just a huge waste of time.
