He accused Bella of taking the job because of him, of not thinking to alert him beforehand, for inconveniencing him to break it to bis wife, let Lauren spew her venom and now he wants to talk? What about? We don't know too much about their affair yet, but it takes two to tango. If his wife can't get over it, she should have stayed home. A private apology after the public attack is not enough.

It is good to see everybody side with Bella when Lauren kept the bitchy remarks coming. No word from Edward though, not even to try and reign her in. That's not just rude towards Bella, but their host, too. I'd be ashamed if my partner embarrassed me like that in front of my boss and colleagues.

Soo why is she such a wuss? I can totally understand nit making a scene at my new job but Edward would not be meeting me for coffee...EVER. What is there to talk about after all these years. Why is she still so hung up on a married man who is STILL with the same wife.
