If Quick regeneration also means faster muscle recovery I would choose that so you could improve faster physically if not then photographic memory would've help fuinjutsu study.
I think resistant seal would be more beneficial than gravity seal for training since more muscles would be involved in resistant seal and your height won't be hindered because of use of gravity seal

I'm surprised you didn't go for an Anbu to be his Sensei since they are specialized Assassin I think you could get away with giving an Anbu a break by having him/her teach a solo genin

I forgot to suggest for him to create the Black keys from Fate universe so he could incorporate clan jutsu into a weapon.
For summons maybe Bird type since he would be solo genin in a team it would help him with recon even can be used for escape even maybe be used like a Halo jump or Wingsuit flying
