I don't know what implants they already have, but perhaps take inspiration from cyberpunk 2077?
Stealth ships, just make them big, round balls. Or teardrops shaped ships works too.

Great chapter, I admit I didn't link the Batarian admiral to Beckett until I read the phrase about protecting business. Nice touch btw.
The problem with Bavarian society is not only a matter of "power" but of "culture" as well. I'm a firm believer that no matter how advanced and/or beneficial an idea is, if it doesn't fit the mentality of the people you introducing it to, it will fail.
Ultimately, we are the product of our culture and are naturally inclined to seek familiarity in our lives.
One of the reason why attempts to bring "democracy" to the middle eastern country always fails is because the people there (the one force that should make a democracy work) mostly have no idea of what democracy even is or how it work. Similarly, we western countries are constantly conditioned by our own media to believe that only profit matter and unless you bag yourself a high paying job as corporate CEO or chirurgeon, you're a loser in life.

Why did the EMP work? You've shown that the MC and his group develpoed and built their own equipment so why didn't any of the people who are very experienced in warfare add shielding to their gear or ask if it was shielded.
It seems like the EMP was just added to cause more tension and conflit while also making the reader hate the batarians more.

For the augmentations maybe something like the HALO ANCIENT HUMAN augmentations which makes them 3m tall but that would probably is too early so maybe a Spartan 2 augmentations first then.
Stealth ships like the Expanse Amun-Ra and Halo UNSC Prowler so the ships differ on looks depending on what size or class of stealth ship it is.
This chapter reminds me of good ol C&C

Good chapter. I'm looking forward to the next one. I'm happy to see that this story is still being developed. Regarding the augmentations, perhaps exploring the wide range of cyberware and bioware available in Cyberpunk's universe would be a good idea. It would be interesting to see Sandevistans or Kerenzikovs, as well as the full suite of Grafted Muscle, Muscle & Bone Lace, Skin Weave, Enhanced Antibodies, Toxin Binders, and Nanosurgeons. Of course, assuming they don't already have similar enhancements installed. You can find more inspiration in the various Cyberpunk 2020 core books. I imagine the stealth ships look somewhat like Halo's prowlers or the Expanse's stealth ships.

augments... well im all for transhumanism. on a small scale this would be genmodding humans to be green so we are photosyntetic. not like gamora isnt still hot green :P
but the ultimate goal would be to fully replace all organic matter with nanites(ala replicator sg1). or like eclipse phase where they bluebox the human brain, basically turning humans into AI. they dont use nanite bodies though.
but i would honestly be a little scared of any tech inside me that can be remotely hacked, so unless it is locked to your soul or something i dont think its a good idea.

the weird thing is that the drell live on a ruined homeworld, they are a client race of the hanar that took a handful of them off thr planet but abandoned the rest. sound like billions of free slaves no one gives two shit about to you?
on that note you should def work on helping the drell like you did with the quarians. but thats what ive been saying for a few chapters, to create his own faction directly opposing the citadel. humans quarians geth krogan, drell, prob the volus, the vorcha under protective status till they evolved further.
the trap was a bit weird in that you started with the ground pov but the call for airsupport wasnt shown until you came to the spaceship povs. so i was like where the hell is airsupport, how is this possible and then you came hah fooled you.
the fighting itself was a little heavy on the 'and then, but i already and so i moved' making it a little dry
