The side story about the kingdom, the apprentices and the dragon master is a mistake in my eyes.
Kilgara comes off as a bad guy, the Dragon-Master comes off as weird (preaching about harmony wisdom and peace, yet being proud of having trained future slavers? Why would he even train them in the first place if slavery was a big part of that kingdoms culture?), the apprentices have are hypocrites (getting revenge for your kingdom is alright, being judgmental about the destruction of the kingdom in the first place, while they delivered a man and a girl to be killed and enslaved (that later turned out to not be the dragon they were looking for), is insanity.

Having a majority of the guild go through hell while almost not growing at all helps noone. There is always a possibility to create a situation that forces people to grow or just help them with training.
Letting people suffer because they aren't the main/strong characters is not chaotic, it's evil.

Wtf. As happy as I am that this story is still going. What just happened? Why did the quest tell him to attack the ninjas and why did the spell turn him human? Is this one of those I made my protagonist to strong so now I need to nurf him for plot reasons? Or is this just a way for him to get a human form?
