like how bulbasaur ended up going with Ash, the way he is designated as a therapy case is a nice change

Brock and Ash gained their respective new Pokémon from Melanie's "Heal Farm".
Brock: An Oddish and a Wooper.
Ash: The finicky Bulbasaur.
How may their journey go from here? Stay tuned to find out! *warm grin*
Please continue when you may, BK. This story is always a joy to read and review.

While I seldom leave reviews on anyone's work, it felt right to leave this one. Vali's emotions, motivations, and such always feel compelling and authentic to experience; this time... This time, I felt the need to review because of the discussion of her grief. In brief, I experienced the loss of a litter of kittens less than a week ago, and this chapter... Vali's explanation of grief made me feel understood and seen, even despite the fact that it's entirely a coincidence. Saying that reading helped would be both an under and overstatement; it made everything feel raw again, but it also made the wound feel a little bit easier to bear.
(As for the "usual" Review Things: I love your way with words, your worldbuilding is phenomenal, and I always eagerly look forward to new chapters.)

Really liking this story. Was a little worried that there would be a lot of Misty-bashing, but you worked it well. Are you gonna include any Paldean Pokemon?

My Guess: Vali lost a pokemon, probably a dragon type, and at the end of the chapter, it just came back to the world of the living as a Dreepy, hopefully they'll be reunited
