Ash's status as the Chosen One activating this early with these events pulling him in despite Vali's attempts for protection. Gary gets to go along the ride tho.
I hope Lance's recovery goes successful and them Vali, Lance and Steven still get to catch up and touch bases even with the fast pace chaos lining up in the future. Thank you for the new chapter!

True. With all of the BS that she and the boys have been through lately it is a bout time for Vali to "retire/resign" from being part of lance's Elite Four and become a "Freelancer/ Operative" for Goodshow.
Heavens! Vali is practically already the Head Honcho of the Pokémon League's "ANBU Black Ops".
