I do think that exploring deeper would give some helpful stuff to know, like what Pokemon reside there, and maybe make sure there aren't any problems with tunnels and such that could cause a collapse. But very much so not to newbies or general trainers who just need to make it through mount moon it would have to be something that only would be offered for specific situations and more or less to not bother/catch said Pokemon that are down there.

Well, not the whole “Lance was poisoned” bit, as that’d sad/scary to think about. Oof. Hope that Lance’s recovery goes as smoothly as it can.
The would-be poisoner probably did one of the worst things they could have done. After all, there’s a reason why Arcanine were once mistakenly considered as Legendaries…And I’m starting to think that H. Arcanine Have something to do with that myth.
The new people! They are awesome! So those are the people that Vali was Vid-calling around the time Ash/Gary met Yellow, I take it? So cool!

May Ash switch Pidgeotto for Blitzie when they reach Mt. Moon? or may there be some other Pokémon that he may switch the bird Pokémon with?
Who and or what may have poisoned Lance in Hoenn with that cocktail?
