Mariam is such a wet blanket. Geez. I thought the idea of having friends is them offering support? She didn't have to be so cold about it, either. And for sure, there's a fine line between realistic and pessimistic but the most important thing Hilary can do is approach it with a padded heart and ego, to an extent. The future is unwritten, after all!
Mariah's super right; the best relationships start as close friends. Our girl here is capable of speaking her mind under the right circumstances. Perhaps, she needs a common ground with Tyson such as food? I don't know. Great job with the update so far! I'm happy this received a second chapter! :D

and I think there should be a sequel to this. I think things are still a bit open ended.
