jrchandlerfan1 yes but I'm sure liesl hired someone to watch britt when liesl at work as a doctor but yes liesl raised britt but with the way britt was raised it wasn't like a normal child I mean she didn't have a birthday party or anything

jrchandlerfan1 britt never had birthday party and liesl will always get britt to toughen up but problem was faison didn't want a daughter rather a son to be his hair to help carry on his legacy so...plus liesl wasn't always there for britt so...as for gladys no she didn't have no drugs or alchohol problems in past but she was greed abt money and even back then sonny could not stand gladys til now

Yes, they will insert real life issues. I just think they need to level the playing field a little more. For example not automatically make someone psycho or a villain simply because they disagree with Sonny or Carly. Let them disagree but still be a great character or hero that simply just doesn't get along with them.
So question for anyone who knows Britt or Gladys' history... I wasn't watching regularly when Britt started, but Liesl mentioned recently that the way she raised Britt was to please her father Faison. Do we know anything about her teen years? Was she with Liesl as a teen?
And I don't like Gladys, so I sometimes zone out of her scenes. I believe it was mentioned that Brando had a substance abuse problem, did Gladys have one too? I know she has a gambling problem, but has she done drugs or had a drinking problem?
I mean, I can tweak things as I please in my story LOL, but it helps if I know the history. Also, I might have to SORAS Britt. According to Wiki she's 37 and Sasha is 30 hahaha.

With mike , different cancer storylines hiv disorder and they did brief conversation abt racism when portia and stella were talking abt trina and wat she was facing instead of esme and I personally think that new da arden is somewat racist towards trina /color of her skin especially since robert managed to stop trial and Arden tried to prevent robert from trying save trina on gh show

Guest 1- Yes, they should've had some justice with Esme/Trina by having Esme do some time, then maybe when she got out of jail they could give her amnesia. Maybe for me I'm not as invested in them as some others so I don't give that as much thought, even though I do really like Trina so I do agree. But that's the frustration I have (and Chrissyfan has) with certain characters either being backburnered or being villainized. It just feels like the writers can try harder to please more than a select few fanbases and be more creative at including characters that should be involved (for example involving Alexis and her girls in a very heavy Cassadine story).

Kitty-Kat you are not alone in thinking that was hilarious. Now that... was one fantastic way to shut Carly up, I hope she survives it just to be tormented some more. You hit a home run with that scene. So either Sasha hit her or maybe the elderly lady. Speaking of Sasha, I love how you incorporated that dialogue. Sasha loves Nina and Nina loves her and I love their relationship and it would be very intune after holding Amelia that she start feeling depressed. Hopefully, Liesel will find her before she overdoses. *did I just say that, yikes*. I need my girl Sasha to feel some love. Interesting talk with Drew/Britt. She? So we aren't talking about Rocco/Ben but a different situation, I think I might like it.
Guest1- I hear what you are saying in terms of the show itself. I do agree with jrchandlerfan that interms of the writing and pacing. Particularly since this is an anniversary year and a meaningful one that they could have found a way to be more inclusive to the old school cast. Maybe the Davis girls don't go on adventure but certainly talking about the Cassadine heritage and the horrible things that they did over the years couldn't have hurt. As you have probably deduced I am a huge fan of Elizabeth. She helped battle Helena to basically put Lucky back together again. She faked her death and helped steal the ice princess from Helena and had plenty of run ins with her. I want her very much to be a part of this. Even if it is only by reminiscing. A twitter user made a very valid point that on Friday's show, Elizabeth could have mention to Portia that when she was Trina's age through Lucky being her boyfriend and her friendship with Nicholas she had tangled with the Cassadines a time or two and that Trina is resourseful and capable and will be okay. Just little things like that go a long way to making people who have watched, even if it was just off and on for over twenty years happy or happier at least. This is squarely on the Producer and writer and their lack of willingness to do the homework on the history of the characters unless it benefits a character they want to promote.

Did you read what I wrote about the writers having bad timing? Like Molly's new storyline, the Gregory storyline could've taken place at a different time than the ice princess story that is very heavily a Cassadine story.
