So two major problems. A person is an obscurial; the obscurus is the parasitic form that individual's magic takes. A young magical only becomes an obscurial if they have been actively suppressing their magic - there's no hint of that in canon or in this fic. Trauma is not enough, they have to be actually resisting and resenting their own nature as magical. If you're trying to mirror Ariana Dumbledore here - it doesn't make sense; she lost control of her magic and subsequently became afraid of her own magical nature turning that uncontrolled power inward.

I absolutely LOVE the interaction between Harry and the different animals. I hope to see more of it. Every time you put out a new chapter I go back through the story and hit the conversations just so that I remember for when I get to the new stuff. I never get tired of rereading it. Thank you!
