Another decent chapter and I'm happy to see it back.
It is nice to see the conflicting ideologies between Night Raid and Naruto's group, though I do feel like you haven't quite made it gray enough on the Night Raid side. Naruto and Kakashi are clearly doing this to make money to help rebuild the Elemental Nations after the massive war, so obviously they aren't doing this simply for money. Yet Kakashi and Naruto also realize the Empire, Honest anyway, are insanely corrupt and they are technically helping the bad guys, while also killing people trying to in a sense fix things.
Issue I have is that well, so far not enough is shown to convey that Night Raid is hardly as noble as they claim to be. We know they basically murder anyone who is connected to the empire, even regular soldiers, guys who probably have little control or idea of what is really going on aren't safe. Similarly there's the whole "You've seen our faces, now you have to work for us or die kind of deal." Just feel like you could take some steps so it doesn't come across like Night Raid seem more blameless. I mean Akame Ga Kill basically made the villains as utterly repugnant as possible so Night Raid would seem better by comparison, so you'll probably need to show a few of their more negative aspects to work things out.
Moving past that, Night Raid themselves are proving Kakashi's statement of Naruto's strength accurate. They've already lost Bulat and Lubbock, not to mention Mine is probably never gonna fight again, not to mention losing their base. And it's not like they have any real trump cards to play as their Teigu are the only trick they have and none of them are even remotely powerful enough to kill Naruto, Kakashi maybe, but not Naruto.
Also liked that Naruto actually got to do some legit good stuff, like saving Chojiri and Spear who really got the short end of the stick in the end in canon. Hopefully they won't just get murdered by Honest later, as that would only make things feel cheapened. Still I think I see what you're going for, having Naruto's genuine compassion and kindness rub off on the Emperor causing him to act like a more sensible leader rather than blindly following Honest. Changing the Empire from the inside rather than simply murdering everyone and replacing them with some other guy with no guarantee he won't be as corrupt as the last clown. Hope there is more of this going forward.
Obviously the biggest thing is when is Esdeath finally gonna show up. Obviously there is a lot of hype surrounding it, mainly how exactly Naruto and Esdeath will bounce off each other. With his power Naruto could easily wipe the floor with Esdeath even if she threw everything she had at him, yet at the same time Esdeath would probably love Naruto instantly and I know this because I read her list of essential traits for a lover to have and Naruto literally checks each one, he's basically a stronger, smarter, more compassionate and kind version of Tatsumi, so why wouldn't she fall for him. Obvious issue is Naruto's limitless kindess towards others which would obviously clash with Esdeath's more sadistic personality. Then again, Naruto was able to awaken the humanity in Zabuza, a ruthless murderer who'd been killing people since he was a literal child, Gaara, a mass murdering madman with a demon inside him, and even Nagato, an all powerful Ninja who sought to bring about the end of the world due to the suffering he experienced in War.
If Naruto could make better people out of those guys, then Esdeath shouldn't be too difficult to work around. Just hoping their interactions will be fun to read.

This story is great in showing us the “darker” side of shinobis and specially Konoha and the ninjas that we couldn’t normally see, after all they were always in the side of the “good people” but now they have the mission to kill Night Raid who in their series are the good ones so naturally we get confused.
Especially Naruto, who we can see clearly struggling with this new job and as Kakashi said this is what shinobis have to do, and the way you’ve pictured is just perfect. So keep th great job and bring new updates.
Also can't wait to see Naruto and Esdeath interacting and how their relationship will come to be.
