So I googled Monty and ended with chatgpt doing a search for me. Now I really think he is Phoenix.
If you're the kind of author thats sure names fit the character, Monty fits Phoenix's characterm

hm ... a while ago I was thing Ash ... but than Bella would have recognized at least his voice at the father-son-meeting ... then I was thinking somehow Sam ... but wouldn't Edward have recognized his voice? Or he was using a system in the mask to change his voice ... ... curious ... and I can't wait for the next chapter to be on! Hopefully soon.
