I really like this story. It conveys emotion extremely well, and is a testement to your ability as a writer. I actually didn't even know this was a sequel until I finished it, and yet I was still able to read and enjoy this as a standalone.
I also quite like the path you've taken with the main character. As you've subtly (and not so subtly) hinted at, this character seems to be alomst a reincarnation of Tom Riddle. He has his power, his extreme desire to prove himself, his ruthlessness, and his arrognace. However, this time, it's tempered by his love for his Family (and Fleur), instead of it just being him against the world. He is a flawed character, but I quite enjoy reading this story through his perspective.
I find Harry's plight interesting too. It seems like he has some sort of line he doesn't want to cross in terms of go kill everyone, even though he is obviously capable of it, and that limits his ability to interject into events. He is willing to kill people that go after him and his family, and it's only his lack of information about the dangers his kids face at Hogwarts has probably saved quite a few families from being massacred.
Also, the villans you've implemented in this story are interesting. A lot of stories that don't directly have Voldemort as the villan struggle I find, but you've found a way to maintain a sense of danger, while also making the villans interesting and mysterious.
I look forward to future updates, and will probably go back and read the previous story when I get the chance.

This story is such a weird thing to me.

Now on the other side why is Harry so useless. In the ‘first book’ Harry and Marlene goes completelly insane just killing everyone to protect their sunset, and now they have it, and for some reason (to let the main character shine), they are completelly afk.
And that would be fine if their son isn’t just the most annoying pos in the universe. Dude is making me miss canon Draco. There is no chance Harry and Marlene would have this awfull of a son, and then just accept it. Parents have multiple tools to raise their children, a nobleman with imense magical power have even more and they are just accepting their son ruining the world. And that makes Harry even worse.

I've genuinely tried reading this a few times but every time it's a couple things that just genuinely ruin it for me.
The MC just has too many issues for me to like, at all. And his obsession with Fleur is so god damn annoying. She gives off so many red flags too.
Harry is like a shell of who he was in the first story. It's pretty obvious he's this way so his son can shine, but again I don't like his kid so...

So Tristan is basically doing to James & his family what his own father did to him, keep him in the dark & fed shit.
And James has the same justification as him for needing to know the truth. His life & his family’s too is on the line, he deserves to know at least to better protect himself.

Knowing what’s has been happening Harry would have checked for poison since the grandmother hated him. Marlene wouldn’t have drank since she pregnant. Harry being out dueled by one opponent is laughable. What eighteen or nineteen have passed wizards get stronger with age Harry is weaker . I loved your first book but this one really erases everything from the first.

His siblings can carry on but this little shit is the worst OC I've ever read in a HP fic and he's the MC. He's the only reason I made the effort to unfollow and unfavourite the author. Didn't want to see notifications of this sad excuse for a MC.
