I wanna like this fic, its pretty entertaining seeing NEO!Issei finding out the differences between his universe and the DxD!universe, but I've got some gripes with this fic.
First is the decision to take Issei from somewhere around Vol 14 into the NEO universe considering the power difference between that Issei and his NEO counterpart is too damn far apart (I'm still on chapter 60 of DxD NEO, so I've spoiled myself a bit here). I'm confused at why you didn't use Issei from the later volumes, like Volume 25, or the current volume in Shin DxD, which could have closed the powergap a bit.
Next is seemingly downplaying Issei. In his training against Stjanra, Issei is unable to control his dragonic transformation, and Stjanra criticizes his fighting style, claiming he focuses too much on using the Boosted Gear, which doesn't make sense considering Issei was able to partially transform one of his arms without the Boosted Gear in Vol 14, and he ultimately beat Cao Cao and Jeanne by using outside the box tactics. Also, I still feel like Issei's missing a lot of his abilities, such as his ability to promote to different pieces, his Illegal Trident forms, or his Ascalon sword.

OG Issei’s spells are unorthodox but effective, and considering he got that strong in only a year with no solid foundation, special genes, or even a consistent teacher, I think he earns more props. But it is what it the power scale gap between the verses is just too large.
