(So glad to catch up with your stories. I had missed them so and now feel like I am back observing this fascinating family.)
So many emotional responses to this one. Nadir's pain is not surprising; his world has been forever altered. Hard to say what he can salvage in his relationship with Adele. He really is collateral damage in this situation.
The conversation about suicide was also interesting. For those of us who have experienced suicide in our lives, it really hits a nerve.
Erik and Christine are good forces to help Nadir. Their perspectives are a blend of realism, empathy, and survival. He most certainly has a tough road ahead of him. He is such an endearing character.
