And suddenly I fear for Astoria’s safety. It was a great chapter and seeing them simply relishing in the kill and relaxing in the Malfoy manor was perfection. As powerful as they are they are still young and arrogant enough to not immediately flee the scene. To me it shows their immaturity and lack of real experience which is a good thing in this case. Susan and Neville snapping at Hermione is interesting and makes me wonder where you will be taking those characters honestly. I feel bad for Hermione, her morals aren’t entirely wrong but personally I side with Susan, they got what they deserved. And frankly the notion of a human rights treaty for the magical world is hilarious. Using just 4th year and below spells you can violate most human rights with ease, forget about actual curses. But above all I am curious about what Astoria realized regarding Daphne and her magic, and whether she will stay with Draco or not. Another great chapter and I look forward to seeing the next one.

Okay so, personal preferences ahead, I knew where this was going, but i was still surprised by the quality of it. What I don't like, and again that's just my preferences, is the fact that eventual betrayal has been setup. If it ever happens that one or both become hungry in a desperate situation, from what we've seen here, betrayal is a very real option.
I hope there never will be any payoff for Harry's thoughts of hurting Daphne while hungry.

Very well done. Sirius' death wasn't unpredictable but it wasn't obvious either imo, and the way it happened serves the direction you're taking the story very nicely.

Honestly just woah. This story has got its hooks in me. I did feel like they were effected very fast but it really did put an emphasis on the great power great consequences. I do hope they dont have to go and murder every few days at the start maybe not need to untill after the 3rd task. Voldemort maybe? But all in all love this story and cant wait for more! Keep it up! This is a fun read!

Wow that was dark lol. The consequences of their actions were surely far worse than Harry and Daphne expected, especially with how irritable they became towards each other, then appearing like corpses not long after. I’m curious how often they will have to cause human pain to avoid becoming like that again.
What I’m even more eager to see is the fallout of the Malfoys’ deaths: Draco’s response, the school as a whole’s reaction and whether Dumbledore or anyone else figures out Harry and Daphne’s involvement, perhaps even Ron and Hermione if they notice how much better Harry and Daphne look the following morning, coinciding with the death of the Malfoys in the paper. Whatever happens, it sets us up for a very intriguing next few chapters. Keep up the great work!
