Here's a little thing though: Thor didn't beat up Modi in Asgard in front of Sif and Thrud. He beat him up right in the place you find him. You hear a thunderbolt with Thor leaving right before you enter.
Why am I telling you this?
Because while Magni, Baldur and Odin all have dead bodies upon dying and Thor disintegrates, we never actually see Modi's dead body. The throat wound he suffered by Atreus could be healed by someone if rescued in time or even by his own powers if we stretch it a bit.
Modi could very well be alive.
You could use that.

It's nice to see Thor's family coming together, it's the second chance Thor always wanted.
And that spar between father and sons made me wand to play a boss rush between Kratos, Atreus, and Freya vs Thor, Magni, and Modi.
