I love this fanfic, three chapters in and I'm hooked, also I'm with you on delenda est being a favorite, its easily my number 2 on list of favorite fics in my head. I really enjoy the attitudes of harry an bella in this, an the way you're giving information about harrys past an whats going on in the moment without over-use of flashbacks that take up half a chapter or more.

ok, little 'off' feeling about this fic (likely due to finding so few stories where Harry mixes into pureblood society to actually be interesting to me: though your situation, with no Voldemort, gives things enough of a change to make it very much an interesting story) but despite the 'off' feeling of mild cognitive dissonance (major AU always have some, and the context of this one more so, though not saying that is a bad thing) this story has already captured my attention enough to garner a favorite in addition to a follow. looking forward to future chapters.
And I apologize if this comes off as a back-handed compliment, I read over it and can see it possibly being read that way. That is not my intent; however, I just don't know another/better way of describing the way I feel about a version of Harry interacting with and inserting himself into pureblood society, And my own actually enjoying said interactions and plot. I just have not come across any story before that is quite like this one, and it both intrigues me and .. surprises me I guess. I generally have read enough fanfics, and stories in general, that it is not often I come across new combinations of plot elements that stand out to me, and this 'off feeling', while objectively a horrible choice of words to describe it, is not intended to be disparaging or to come across negatively. It is "off from expectations" and off from previous experiences. It's like reading a math problem in non-decimal (base-10) math. Even if base 13 can accurately have 95=11 and make internal sense within the framework of being a base-13 example, it still feels "off" from being so used to base-10 having 95=14. (and since I am still a slight bit of a nerd, and can find enjoyment in playing with numbers [especially in the context of crunchy table rpgs] the example of non-decimal math is an accurate metaphor to me personally for the "off but interesting for being so" kind of feeling your story gives me. You're taking story and plot elements and putting them together in ways to get logically consistent results, but it's like algebra in base-13I can maybe grasp some of what is coming, and can pick out individual elements and recognize that 11 in base-13 has the first 1 (in the "tens" place, or actually the "thirteens" place in base-13) indicate "base-10's 13" and the second 1 indicating simply an additional 1: thus 11=14. That said adding in X and other variables to the mix and suddenly its like a switch is flipped in my head, trying to figure out/anticipate future events becomes more of a hassle to do than just reading to find out- or takes less time. I cannot just read, see the trends, and have a basic understanding of potential progression for the story. But at the same time it's not some kind of Orwell-ian "22=5" situation.
and this has really gotten off-track and rambling for a simple comment saying that I have gone beyond just following and added the story to favorites. And I just wanted to try and explain why I favorited it, especially this early into its release.

Happy to see he isn't burning bridges for no reason like a numbskull like you see so many Harry's do. Very impressive how he puts personal feelings aside to get benefits or connections. You almost never see that in a time travel fic. It's either he throws his lot in with one side and ignores the other or he just ignores both, not that any of that is wrong. Similar to Teenage Tom Riddle but without the restrictions of only thinking of blood purity. Best of all he actually has a backbone. Important cause he'd just be labeled another Slytherin if he doesn't make his opinions known and loudly.

To be honest, I don't know what to think of this. Every time I think I finally get a grasp of this story, you manage to pull a clear WTF right out of the hat. All I can truly say is that I wish you luck on future chapters.

Seems to be very well thought out. Already better than 90% of it's predecessors with just 2 chapters. Of course that's ignoring everything about Bellatrix but we'll get through I'm sure. Though I'm very curious about Harry's original dimension and how it differs from canon.
