I feel like every scene involving Shirou's parents is more incomprehensible than the last.

Hmm. So was Sakura in there long enough to get worm raped or not? It seems a little inconclusive.
You said she tried to "pull the worms out", which kinda makes it sound like she did. Which would be a really stupid thing to do.

Zouken is really poorly written. The whole time, he's giggling like the creepy old rapist that he is, and he says dumb shit like "You broke the magical rules!"
Like, what? He sounds like an idiot.

The first couple paragraphs are pretty much a perfect example of why most people hate self-inserts. Way too meta, way too cringe, and way too immersion-breaking. And it's just, again, yet more whining from the self-insert character instead of actually doing anything interesting.
He fully spends the whole first half of this short ass chapter just straight up whining th time.
Also, any person who gets isekai'd into Fate somehow and fails to wife Artoria is, in my opinion, someone who has failed to properly take advantage of the opportunity granted to them by arriving in that world. I don't care if you're a straight woman, even. You gotta get Artoria. Even Rin feels that way, and you know she's all about Shirou's meat.
She is The Wife.
Scathach is fine as hell too, but them's the rules. There's a great many fine ass women in Fate anime and in FGO, but Artoria remains the ultimate wife. That's why there's like seven million versions of her and girls who look like her.
But if we're talking harems :eyes: then things become more interesting. Artoria is always Main Wife, but the rest of the slots would be subject to great debate.

Gilgamesh is a total narcissistic Karen. Hitting the red wine and complaining about the mixed race people dirtying the view of his perfect neighborhood.

The whole "Faker" thing is really over done. Makes Gilgamesh sound like an immature child. Might as well use Kid Gil at that point to really sell it.
I mean, throughout the fandom in general. Faker has gotten reeeeeeal old. It's also just sort of annoying because it tends to dovetail into the bullshit where people refuse to let Shirou get more powerful or have any real character development.
Speaking of which, the Shirou in this story is sort of an idiot. Maybe it's the whole "Chinese web novel nerd" thing (I've read so many thousands of chapters of selfish Chinese protagonists, so I expect that kind of bullshit from those types of characters), but I don't understand why he's trying to equate real-Shirou's obsession with being a "Hero" that sacrifices himself to save as many people as possible, with simply having the desire to save a single specific person he cares about.
So he's here wasting time, trying to convince himself that he shouldn't care that his friend is aboutta just super raped by a bunch of disgusting magical cock-worms that are magically and psychically connected to the old man who tossed her into their nest instead of trying to DO something about it. It's like, brother, what are you even doing? How are you more useless and ineffectual than a typical Japanese protagonist? Those guys are /known/ for being useless pussies, but you don't gotta go out of your way to double down on it, "Shirou".

"That Tokiomi Guy" I cannot handle his cringe. Tell me that you hate that she's married to someone who isn't you without telling me.
Also, Aoi is a useless bitch of a mother. She's got that battered and abused wife energy. "Everything my master says is correct. I will put my child into a rape pit because he is never wrong."
Tokiomi is out here using bad tradition and ambition to justify shitty and delusional parenting. Shameful behavior.
Also, I don't know about other people, but I'm pretty sick of Gilgamesh's bullshit babble already. Shit's just annoying. He's obnoxious. He kinda cute, but definitely also a completely trash person.

"Kariya is my simp," Tohsaka Aoi said firmly.
You know, to modernize it and be more accurate. He's that cringe friend that hangs around the hot girl hoping someday she'll randomly decide to destroy her own life and run away with him.
It's like, you want to feel for the guy, but it's hard because he's just too cringe. He's also just a massive failure and failed at everything he set out to do. He couldn't protect anyone, and Sakura got super fucking abused by his patriarch.
I don't really see how (reasonably, without a lot of silliness) Sakura can be saved from that fate, but I sure hope she does. That old worm fucker needs to be burned in cursed, everlasting napalm in Hell.

Shirou is so very fucked.
I hope his stats continue to go up. The lack of development in stats always annoyed me in Fate stories. Servants make a little sense. They're pigeon-holed versions of themselves that are often very nerfed. That's why you can have different versions of a character. Their Saint Graph is emphasizing that part of them, and pushing away the other parts. The full spirit should, in theory, get the whole ass breadth of all of their power, but those typically never leave the Throne of Heroes, and you get nerfed copies shoved into a shell that types their abilities into Classes. But Shirou isn't a real servant. Yet, a lot of writers try to force his abilities to be pretty much completely static. They decide that character development is a bad thing? I hate it.
I don't know if Shirou is going to get another chance at a Servant in this War, or if he's kind of his own Servant right now. The tags imply that Scathach is going to appear at some point, and I had assume she would be his Servant. While I will always prefer to see my girl Artoria, Scathach would be a convenient choice for him because she's known to have trained at least one other Servant (albeit in their original mythology, and not while they're actively Servants) and she's known as a powerful sorceress and martial combatant. She could help train his ass to be less shit.
I still think the Sakura thing is about to blow up Shirou's entire family, but I guess I'll find out soon enough. I just hope she doesn't end up raped by those disgusting Crest Worms. Whoever was the original artist for the VN even drew them cock-shaped to make something horrible even worse, iirc.

Sakura thinks she can just gas light the pain away? That's pretty funny.
"You're not in pain. Mind over matter, Shirou! Suck it the fuck up." Then again, given the character tags, someone else might be appearing at some point and say those very words to him and mean it.
I liked the bonus EMIYA-magic-junk install, though I wonder how far it goes. Being able to launch swords is pretty litty though. I think canon Shirou couldn't do that? Or if he could, not until the very end on one or two of the routes? I forget, really. Been too long. It might have been from the EMIYA arm graft, and not strictly a present-Shirou thing though.
I hope he continues to grow more powerful. I like it when Shirou becomes really strong, and resent it when people go out of their way to make him as weak as possible while still allowing him to nearly kill himself while summoning a powerful sword for the sake of dramatics. Comes off as lazy after the Nth time it happens.

It would have been pretty funny if he did randomly awaken a System outta nowhere.
I also like the mental image of the Jade Emperor being like, "alright, only because you asked nicely and I have nothing better to do, I'll help out." As if the deity was just chilling and watching the whole time.

I gotta say, I do hope that Shirou ends up being OP. And preferably sooner rather than later. A powerless protagonist gets old reaaaal quick.
I like the glimpse of Shirou pre-getting fucked by Angra Mainyu's cursed fire, but there's zero chance that they won't get super-murdered by the Tohsaka family for daring to "kidnap" their daughter.
Anyway, it's interesting that Shirou's dad get isekai'd after he dies and become the main character of a digital world.
"The Trichroma is your power
Use it wisely and be strong
Big Narita, wield the Techno-Sword
All the stallions must be gone
Saving the world
Narita Boy
Save the World
Yellow Red Blue
Always be true
Techno-Sword"
... There's this cute indie game called "Narita Boy".

It has already been researched and to this end it is not an original work, it is a translation of a Chinese fic.
Now, isn't it a little illegal to monetize work that doesn't belong to you?
I say this because you have a patreon with more chapters, unless you are the original author and, Are you going to translate the entire fic?
It has like 4,000 chapters, that's a lot.
And if you decided to translate everything, are you also going to translate the second part?
There are another 4,000 chapters and if you decide to translate it, it will take a lot of time.
