Why is Lissana there? I hope next chapter you will have a flashback of OC doing some action that leads to a rube goldberg /butterfly effect where it somehow accidentally saves her. Something comical like the beast slips on a banana peel and this knocks it out and lets elfman absorb it. It's generally accepted that fanfics are same as Canon but with something new and only thing you added is the OC. Unless gods being prominent somehow changes things.
Considering the tags I assume the romance is with Mirajane and Erza therefore I assume beloved character you wanna kill is Jellal... Damn bro, kid was mind controlled his entire life into committing terrible things but hey, if nobody finds out he could have been saved I guess they can think that he was evil all along.
