Just like Orochimaru, Madara only cares about getting what he wants. I'm surprised the Mizukage would get on board with this. Unless she was worried about her political standing slipping in the village if she didn't try to get the bijuu back.

I love this story so much, such an amazing fic S2; I've been reading it since you started to publish it; it's so sad seeing it ending now; the end seemed so far away, I didn't see it coming so soon lol, but at the same time I'm grateful, since there's many such cases of amazing fics like The Renegade being tragically abandoned; I appreciate how you didn't just elongated it unnecessarily, like many authors would do; It's wise to know when to end something too. I can say with absolute certainty that this fic is one of the best Rinnengan Naruto fics ever written out there, and there's so few really good ones, and even fewer pairing Naruto and Konan, yeah, she deserved so much better; I loved how you handled Naruto ceasing to delude himself about Konoha and just leaving it too, they don't deserve him; I've always hated how forgiving Naruto was in canon. Thank very much for bringing this story into existence, great work indeed; I hope you keep doing well
