I’m so glad I finally found the rest of the story! Google only showed me chapters 1 through 3. I had to download the app to find the rest of the chapters. If you read the end of chapter 3, you’ll know why I was furious with you until I found the rest of the story lol! Anyway, great job I’m really enjoying this.

Liked how you wrote this story so well, and how you wrote the criminals without going too over the top about how they would handle their hostages.
Excellent job keeping everybody well in character too.
Also, the ending was so sweet.

Glad Jimmy got out of there! I know he will get help with the lady he met. But will they be in time for Jim?
One thing I noticed is that 9-1-1 was not used in L.A. until October of 1984. I'm guessing this story takes place in about 1975 considering Jimmy's age. So, Jim would not have told his son to dial 9-1-1 in 1975.
I liked the change you made with the end of chapter three. It reads better that way and seems more believable.
Keep up the good work! Can't wait to see how Jim gets out of this harrowing situation!

Although I felt some parts in this chapter were unbelievable and contrived, it was still a fun read. I am anxiously awaiting to see how Jim and Jimmy are rescued and how the carjacker/kidnappers are finally caught.
At least Jim and Jimmy were able to inch toward safety, even if it now seems far off since you ended the chapter on such a cliffhanger.
