Everything I didn't like in this story has to do with the relationships and the fact that you basically wrote out the Enterprise crew altogether for the last few chapters.
What I liked? Everything else. And frankly, what I didn't care for was simply personal preference. Not an issue with plot, or writing. No problems with pacing.
But the planet of magicals and the great dragon, to me, was basically a McGuffin-style plot device that took the place of characters I actually cared about.
In the end, I loved most of it and was easily able to sigh and keep reading through the parts that bothered me. So for whatever that review might be worth to you.
Thank you for your efforts, and know that they are appreciated.

just finished this fic, it hits hard in the feels quite a few times. honestly would have loved to see some more interaction between harry and Paige simply to build a more...solid? I guess? foundation for them both before the Fleming blows. Other than that ABSOLUTELY STELLAR FIC! Instant favorite.

I'm a bit surprised that Diana is so surprised at Harry's reaction. Not saying she should have known or anything, nor that it's fun being disliked for something you can't really control, but Diana's abilities are invasive. They may be less invasive then full telepathy, but I am certain she will have run into people uncomfortable with her abilities and some of them likely never get comfortable with her empathy. Another point is her mother's people are full telepaths, and there are going to be criminals so I'm confused why the idea of someone being abused by telepathy is so foreign to her. Maybe she isn't trained to deal with that kind of damage, but I would think she would have heard of it, especially as a counselor. None of this is a major nproblem, but seemed a bit of a surprise.

You know, at the end of *All Good Things...* where Q says his say, Picard would have been perfectly entitled to reply, "If the trial never ends, the most you'll ever give us is an injunction. No conclusion, no verdict."

I think this is the end of this story for me. The first story was good. It was a nice little self-contained story that could have ended where it did and lost nothing. It was interesting and the character interactions were interesting, so i was fairly excited coming into this sequel. The first half a dozen or so chapters of the sequel were ok, but i kind of got the feeling that things were a little on the rambling side. Still, i enjoyed the final arc with Kim, and then the Kronos arc was interesting as well. In both cases, things felt believable. From that point forward it felt like things started to go off the rails. The academy arc was fairly good, and the interactions between Harry and Tso were great. The way it ended seemed forced but again there was at least a level of believability to it. My main issue with this ending was that it seemed forced. Like, the sole reason it ended was that Harry had some mysterious prophecy hanging over his head saying that he'd end up with some mystery girl. That just made the whole arc with Paige even worse, and then Harry finds the magical planet and that was basically it for me. The final straw was killing off Paige which just seemed like it happened to make room for whatever the chicks name was on the magical planet. I feel like i've had to force myself to read the last handful of chapters and i just can't do it anymore.

Thank you for writing this, it is however my least favourite of the stories you have written, not for the quality of the writing itself but for the content especially in the shear dissonance between Harry's Trek and this, where as Harry's Trek was light hearted it had enough drama and troubles to provide character development but in this the relationships and advancements made in the first story have little relevance with Kim just being used as a minor plot point to add tension and get Harry to go places, it was rather depressing and the children from his various partners just a footnote as they died hundreds of years before they were ever mentioned outside of a very short interlude.
The pacing also felt off with parts being drawn out like in the first eight chapters or rushed like in the academy arc and the last three chapters.
Of course this is just my personal opinion, I have read quite a few of your works and quite enjoy most of them, the direction this one took is just not to my liking.

I remember reading the beginning of this story and lost track of it. It was a delight to discover that it has not only been continued, but completed.
It's interesting to see where you take the Star Trek franchise; at this point it doesn't matter if it is in the same time line as the original series or the reboot time line. It was also good to see how you weave in the non-mortal species like the Q and the Metron. It is storytelling like this that keeps bringing me back to fan fiction.
Thank you!

I definitely liked the first Harry Trek the best. This is a story, at least for me, that needs to sit for a bit and then give it a second read through before I fairly form an opinion. My knee-jerk reaction is that I am not a fan of this story, but I think that is because this story is very different from the first one (and how I thought any sequels would go) and the plot is also very different from what I'm used to. Sorry, I can't give you a more positive review for the story at this time.
Irrespective of my preference regarding this story, the story was well written and thought out. You are a good writer.

Harry flying on an old-fashioned sweeping broom might break the Vulcans' minds. I am curious if you'll have this version of Earth have myths & legends of witches and wizards.

Passive Legilimency does seems similar to what Deanna can do. Since the two magical abusers probably read Harry's emotions and used those emotions to manipulate him, I can definitely understand why Harry would feel that an empathic reading is no different to mind reading, and therefore want to avoid Deanna at all cost.

So first I still stand by what I said at ch 14.
Second, the story while I didn't like the whole mostly wasted time with some of the girls and Harry's semi devolved development, was really well written.
The story regardless if you like it or not, only needed a bit steadier chapters after chapter 16. It all was a bit rushed compared to chapters before 14. There was almost no character development of the girls compared to the pre ch 14 ones which made them feel rushed and superficial. Yet still maintained good structure.

Sooo, the while story is basically about Harry being easy to use, easy to manipulate, and overall rather dumb so he can easily be moved from woman to woman, breed a few and then meet one at the very end that we probably won't care much about and I doubt it's Zahde because there are to many chapters left and playboy Harry hasn't knocked up his latest docking station yet.
