A soldier instead of canon Leon, this will be interesting, especially with him being different from the original protagonist, that and I hope to see when he and the new owner of the five idiots, they get to see what they are dealing with (if he recognizes the tactics used by Marie to manipulate her minions, are the same as his little sister used; or she sees certain things in the way of being in Leon what were the same as her brother the soldier)
From the battle with mechas, maybe see your version of Leon to use/create a different mecha (either using a more military design, or something based on some famous franchise - that could be a slight indication for Marie of what is with what she is dealing with, more if she recognizes the design or style of fighting)
In addition to seeing your version of Leon, I suppose to be more proactive, regarding what is approaching (and that this does not continue the plot of the novels/manga, please), and with him, more than trying to fit to live a comfortable and carefree life, use his experience and training as a soldier to prepare
Or how strange it would be to see Marie and Leon, instead of being enemies, already understanding that both are reincarnated, and that they know what is still in the plot of the game, ally to avoid the problem that is coming, after which, Marie keep the idiots, and his brother (even if she does not come to know) he lives on his own with Olivia and Angelica

It'll be cool if the Old Humanity had any super soldier projects. Luxon might not have the database but Cleare might have it.
I hope the canon begin to derail soon enough. Since Leon was in JSDF in past life, he shouldn't be his useless canon self that majority of Japanese Isekai protagonists tend to be. He should be far more disciplined and decisive and actually act like a grown adult in regards to relationships.
